Friendly staff and clean room at a no-frills hotel. I’d stay here again!

Room was mostly clean. Beard shavings in sink and stain on one of the blankets. Cheeto on the floor by the nitestand. Not terrible but just enough to make you realize things might not have been cleaned thoroughly. However, slept good and the breakfast was a plus. For the price, can’t complain.

Check in went well, nice receptionist. Room looked good from a distance, but there was dirt in many places: corners of bathroom floors (curly hairs), on moldings, spattered on bathroom wall and especially on the bathroom door. Bed was very comfortable. Towels were super thin. Breakfast was typical or maybe better than some others I've had. The breakfast room was freezing (window was propped open and no heat on - 45ish degrees outside).

This was a very simple room, a bit outdated but pretty clean. Check in was quick with friendly staff. Location was nice, close to 80 and many restaurants/stores very close. Breakfast options were slim but, honestly, with the price, it was about what was expected.

It’s a Super 8, so you know what you’re in for overall. No frills, affordable, etc. That said, it really delivered in every aspect save for “breakfast,” which was all carbs (waffles, cereal, prepackaged pastries), a sad bowl of apples, and a juice machine. Technically food, yes, but not good or enjoyable food. But, hey, it’s a Super 8 and hotel breakfast isn’t going to knock your socks off at this price point. Would definitely stay there again.
OH! Also! The cleaning lady was very nice. Leave her a tip, she’s working hard.

Very good budget hotel. Not much for frills, but it was clean, comfortable, and in a safe area. The front desk staff were friendly, and were super helpful in helping us locate an item we accidentally left in the room at check out.

Nothing great about the place but nothing bad either. Staff is very good. Location is good. It's and older property showing its age.
But for the price it's easily better than anyplace else in the area.

Property claimed to be “remodeled, new” it was not. Nothing unique. Cheap. Nothing appetizing at breakfast, unless you like make your own waffle. Shower knob broke as I was trying to adjust the water to rinse my hair. It was scalding. I had to rinse my long hair in the sink, dress, call for someone to take the knob apart so they could turn the water off. Can’t turn fan on. Loud AC unit turned on and off frequently.

hundred feet from the exit rd, but was very quiet, Staff
was courteous, many restaurants very close. Room was
very clean and the queen beds comfortable. Pricing was
good, will definitely check with them again when back in

No hygiene stuff in bathroom and when asked at front desk we were denied and told they didn’t have any twice. We had to go to housekeeping and get it ourselves where there was plenty.

If you are driving, easy to reach and park car. Several catering facilities nearby. Old renovated, not cleaned enough and symbolic breakfast.

I chose this hotel online, at the last minute and because it was cheap. With that in mind it was better than sleeping in my car and worth the extra time we spent at Mackinac Island. It seemed safe enough. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. The property is aging and could have been cleaner. I slept well though.

The room smelled. I think someone peed on the carpet and they washed it with urine then rinsed it with piss. After 15 minutes you get used to it.

Needs attention to detail throughout. It would be nice if it had a toilet lid and the room cleaned each day. The threshold between the sleeping area and the bath is a tripping hazard. The shampoo was not replaced after the first evening. I saw cereal and waffles as the only breakfast items. My wife would not have stayed there, but she wasn’t with me. Disappointed this stay.

Got here late after an event. Check in went smoothly. Staff was great..place is definitely dated. Bathroom sink drain didnt drain well, served its purpose as somewhere to sleep for the night but I wouldn't stay longer. Ps. Doesn't have usb plug ins so bring plug to attach things to if you need to charge anything.

The hotel is clean and affordable and close to the highway. We have stayed here many times and the service is good. The hotel decide needs a bit of updating since it had the same decor for a few years. Otherwise, I recommend staying here.

The property has certainly seen better days. The first impression was the outside landscaping which were mostly rocks and weeds. The dining area for breakfast was very small. Breakfast wasn’t much of a breakfast. There was no meat, egg, or fruit options. There was a waffle maker, yogurt, white bread and dry cereal. We went somewhere else for breakfast. The stairs were filthy. The bed spread was dirty. The outside of the refrigerator and microwave were disgusting. Dust, dirt, and fingerprints. The tray the shampoo, conditioner, etc. was on was dirty. I will not be staying there again. It felt grimy and dirty.

Unusually nice for a Super 8. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel a little dated and breakfast was minimal, but price was quite a bit less than other hotels in the area. I’d stay there again.

Friendly staff, let us check in a little so that we could change and meet local family. Place was very clean and breakfast well stocked. Grounds around hotel needed attention - weeds, lack of flowers.
I was disappointed to find all four handicap parking occupied by non-stickered vehicles when we returned from visiting with family at 10 pm. I recently had my knee replaced and needed extra room to get out of our vehicle.

The air conditioning in my room smelled like it needed to be cleaned. I saw some new ones in boxes in the lobby, so maybe it will be replaced. The motel was fine, just not new.

We picked the property because it had an 8.2 rating online. The sheets were stained. There was trash on the floor of the hotel room. There was trash outside both doors to get into the property. The hallway smiled like vomit. Breakfast was sour. It was the tough overnight stay.

Good little motel. Nice staff. You need to ask for coffee supplies every day, so be sure to get that before bed if you want morning coffee. I got unlucky on my second stay there and had noisy neighbors beside and across. Not much you can do about that :/
