I have never experienced having to wait in line to check in. Not to mention wait over 40 mins for the line to move! There was only one person at the front desk but it was like she didn’t know what to do which caused the delay in checking in. Then when she got help.. they made it seem as if it was normal and not an issue. The manager and driver made more jokes than realizing they had a mess on their hand. No discount was offered no apologies.. needless to say not sure if we will stay here again.

The location is excellent - brightness to airport and shopping, Also just outside Chicago. The property is well maintained I love the variety in the type notes of a rooms. The Sonests stagf were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The rooms were clean and well maintained. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to the Chicago area.

First when I arrived the lady checked me in was sweet. I got to my room and it’s clearly a stinch in the room. No big deal, I look down at the floor and first thing I thought was the carpet is old maybe it needs to be shampoo cleaning. Still no big deal, I thought when I leave back out I will stop and get a candle problem solved. So later that day I did just that and got a candle. Came back to my room later that evening and lit the candle for a hour or so then blew it out. A couple minutes later the fire alarm inside the room goes off for maybe thirty seconds then turns off. I picked up the phone I call down stairs and talk to a different lady I explain to the lady what just happen and she saying she going to send someone up to check i. Cool, no problem. 45mins to a hours goes by nobody shows up. I leave out to pick up food and when I returned the phone rings in my room. Now I’m thinking I just walked in the room this can’t be anybody but front desk why didn’t she stop me in the lobby to speak to me? But nevertheless I answer the phone and this lady proceeded to tell me that somebody went into the room( which I had been told was told that nobody would enter the room with out my permission) without my permission and found ashes in the window seal.

Nice airport hotel that is super close to the car rental location.

When I arrived for check in the front desk advised me they couldn’t check me in due to Hotels.com not sending over a berto bill to show proof of purchase for room so I had to call them long story short had to wait over an hour before issue was resolved making me late to an event I was attending

Solid hotel for business or family travel. Good restaurant on premises. Don’t forget your $5 credit in the quick mart.

Very good for bath time water is very strong while many other hotel is putting water saving shower nozzle which is something very frastrating This hotel has very good shower nozzle which has enough water pressure for relaxing

fine airport hotel that has instituted a 'resort fee' yet offers no additional benefits for that fee. just man up and charge what you think it's worth. Don't insult us with this 'resort' fee nonsense.

Helpful staff, clean, quiet room, solid Sunday buffet breakfast, very close to rental car facility, timely shuttle to airport.

Everything was fine about hotel. There was even a restaurant at the on site. When I arrived they told me there as a $26/per night parking fee and when I checked out there was a $20 per day destination fee.

$20 Resort Fee Charged per day which is only charged when booking via Expedia…scam.

Hotel was very clean!

Overall pour. I room was dirty and damaged. I asked for assistance getting into my room as my wife accidentally locked me out, it was like talking to a wall. On the subject of walls our were all worn and damaged. The ceiling had water damage, and one of the chairs had fresh gum ground into it. Noticeable use of an ozone machine to remove smoke smell as well. The airport shuttle was supposed to run until 1130, one night we were stuck waiting for it for an hour just for it to never show. That was fun.

Hotel overbooked. Shuttle was not at airport. Took an Uber to the hotel only to find 40+ in line waiting for an available room. I was told to find alternative accommodations without any assistance.

Main issue I had with my stay was the shower. More water leaked from the shower head than what came out. Was tough showering

We stayed for a concert at the Allstate Arena. It was super easy to get an Uber back and forth. Great location.

This is a really good hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The shower is fabulous! Better than home! The desk staff are super welcoming and helpful. Athena was particularly helpful! This is our 3rd stay here and we will definitely stay here again. One of these times we will eat at Harry Carey’s, but Panera is across the street and we like that, too. There is an airport shuttle every half hour.

The number of uneccesary upcharges including the "resort fee" even though this was nothing more than a Motel 6 with a Harry Carry's restaurant on the main floor was disappointing. Our room had two different leaks in the ceiling and it was set to 76° AC but was 57° in the room. We had to turn off the AC altogether because no matter what we did, it wouldn't get warmer than 57°. When we woke up, everything in the room was damp with the intense humidity that could only come from the mold in the ceiling from the leaks above. I will never stay here again. I can't believe this place has such high ratings and charges as much as it does!! NEVER AGAIN!!

We had to get our own towels and toilet paper from the supply room. I bedside light did not work

The toilet seat was broken when I arrived. Because I had two dogs with, I did not want repair men. I did notify the front desk when I checked out. The hotel was very nice. Very clean. The restaurant was convenient. Front desk staff were very accommodating when I locked myself out. Plenty of parking. Bed was very comfortable.

One thing we didn't know about this property was how CLOSE It was to the METRA Train station. It made getting downtown SO EASY! Great location, close to the ALLSTATE Arena where we were headed for a concert. Lots to eat and drink nearby. Very comfy bed and nice room!

The restaurant could do better

Outdated but clean. Front staff members were frustrating.

Having a room with 2 queen beds and it kind of had a master room. Gave some privacy to everyone.

Stayed for one night on the 10th floor. Yes it is cheaper when you book but make sure you ask about your charges. Get a receipt when you check out. It is a hotel and not used to having to pay for parking. Their was mold in the bathroom on the ceiling and you can tell there was water damage in the other part of the room that was fixed poorly. Did not complain as i was only their to sleep but could of been way better.

My experience was great- my husband and I stayed there because we were attending a concert that evening ,. The hotel is within walking distance and they have great places to eat around the hotel as well . it was an overall great experience
