**Hotel Review: A Stunning Beachfront Property** Our recent stay at this hotel was an absolute delight. The property is stunning, with a pristine beachfront that provides breathtaking views. The grounds are incredibly spacious and lush, with greenery all around, creating a serene and refreshing atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the wide range of activities available. There's something for everyone, ensuring that no one in the family ever feels bored. A short 7-minute walk from the hotel leads to a beautiful lagoon filled with colorful corals and a variety of fish, making it a fantastic spot for snorkeling enthusiasts. The hotel boasts numerous dining options, with many restaurants, bars, and a market on-site. Whether you're in the mood for a casual meal or a fine dining experience, you'll find it here. Families will particularly appreciate the extensive amenities designed for them. There's a huge family swimming pool and jacuzzi, along with separate pools and jacuzzis for kids and adults. This thoughtful arrangement ensures that everyone can enjoy their time in a comfortable and relaxed environment. Overall, this hotel is a perfect destination for families and couples alike, offering a blend of natural beauty, recreational activities, and excellent facilities. We can't wait to return!

Great experience!

Very beautiful property! The landscaping is gorgeous. The architecture is stunning and the ambience is serene. A few steps to the beach from the pool. Lovely comfortable loungers and umbrellas at the beach and the at the pool. Never too busy. Just the right amount of guests. Comfortable updated rooms and five star service. The dining options from the canoe house to halali to the convenience store had really delicious food. Best food we had on the island. Couldn’t say more. Our 8 year old had a wonderful time. Can’t wait to come back soon.

For an expensive property that is supposed to be highly rated, it didn’t meet the standards at all. Service was poor at multiple occasions. At the Canoe House Restaurant, it took us waiting 15 minutes to place our drinks order. At the breakfast restaurant 10 minutes to get our water, and they got our order wrong twice. Limited dining options for vegetarians and there was no 24 hour room service. Even service for bellman was poor and we had to take our bags to our taxi ourselves and no one to help load our luggage on to our taxi as well. Overall very disappointing experience for the price and name of the brand.

Beautiful resort with everything we could ask for!

This hotel is wildly overrated and overpriced. The rooms themselves are pretty small and unremarkable (though they are nice). The pool, restaurants, etc. were good, but the hotel staff was unhelpful, unaccommodating, and not nice. Prices were overall outrageous. A 1-hour massage cost over $330 and participating in any hotel-run activity is similarly overpriced. I recommend looking elsewhere

We absolutely loved our stay at Mauna Lani! We came to Hawaii to celebrate baby moon and the hotel made sure I was comfortable by providing a pregnancy pillow & gifted a cute gift box for baby and I. The resort is absolutely breathtaking, especially the main inside interior and garden area. Staff was very friendly, everything looked new and well maintained. We loved coming back to our clean room and to the hotel overall. Everything was as I liked, the aesthetics, the cleanliness, nature, the beach area, etc. Super sad to leave but will definitely come back!!!

It was decorated like a beautiful sanctuary. I kept moving to different spots just to soak in all the lovely decor.

Wow!! What a great stay! We ran into Adrien Cuenin, the head of Food and Beverage and he was simply amazing. He made sure our service throughout our visit was impeccable. A true professional and credit to the operation. That made the difference. From the Canoe House 5 star dining to the beachside service, every single interaction was friendly, fast and helpful. The housekeeping team was also five star. Anything we needed, they showed up magically fast with smiles and a warm “alpha”! We will be back and tell as many people as possible that Mauna Lani is THE place to stay on the big island!!!

Love love love this spot! From the rooms(spacious and comfortable) to the views (beautiful ocean and resort grounds) to the staff(Manny—cabana server who was so welcoming, friendly, and professional!)—-it was all a perfect way to celebrate a birthday

Beautiful place for gateway

Amazing property! The staff goes out of their way to not only be helpful, but they are always friendly and smiling. The amenities are outstanding and the attention to detail at this resort is top notch! We had a wonderful time - thank you!!

We booked through Expedia and surprisingly received an upgrade to an ocean view suite. Thank you very much for a memorable stay.

Probably not a 5 star quality. I was in another 5 star hotel in Maui before this and the condition of the rooms were much better. The bathroom and shower area needs major renovation. The staff are very kind and lovely but not as attentive as you might expect in a 5 star hotel.

Absolutely lovely property. Room was spacious and comfortable. There were a lot of people staying there but it never felt crowded. Staff were extremely helpful and we were able to shower before our flight despite checking out much earlier in the day.

This is a wonderful hotel, great food at Canoe House and very good at casual restaurant. Wonderful service. A bit pricey :)

Fantastic experience

Great visit. Pretty windy first 4 days then perfect weather. The the Canoe House Restaurant is probably our favorite and made for a wonderful visit. We attended the Friday evening Luau and that was also very well done.

I really enjoyed it. I do wonder if I was given the ocean view room that I paid for. It seemed the options were “ocean view” and partial ocean view (I was given the latter though I think I reserved the former.) U f had been staying longer, I might have complained, but the room was gorgeous, the concierge (Lenny) was fantastic and the overall vibe was A . I enjoyed the Canoe House and the other restaurant for breakfast. The service was terrific

This place is unreal! They gave my wife and I the full Hawiian experience with leis and guava juice upon arrival. The resort is gorgeous! The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. We were very impressed with the overall experience.

Amazing

Did not like Hotel putting corporate events in the middle of regular guests. These folks were very loud and disruptive to other guests at the hotel. Corporate events should be conducted away from the other guests on the property. Not interested in the disruptions they caused for my vacation.

we loved our stay at this resort with our ocean front room. building is well kept and the bar is a great hang out next to the pool. one issue we noticed was the morning buffet that was being over run with little brown sparrows eating from the serving utensils and the flies on everything edible. the staff need to keep an eye on this and to follow up on closing covers and replacing anything that can be contaminated. other than that, we loved it here and will be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mauna Lani. We had an oceanfront room and it was perfect for watching the whales. Every single person we encountered at resort was super nice and helpful. It was very quiet and the grounds were beautiful.

This place is amazing!!! We went in mid February. It was not crowded. Tours we took were awesome!! Staff super friendly. Good amazing!! Weather unbelievable! I would recommend this resort to everyone. Families, honeymooners…. We we’re celebrating our 50th anniversary.
