We always stay here when visiting our daughter at Belmont Abbey College. Location is perfect, free breakfast is one of the best, and staff is always super friendly.

Currently being renovated. The bathtub in my tub needed to be reglazed or replaced. I am assuming this will be part of renovation. The pool water was dirty and unusable The morning I left, pool service was occuring. With all this said, the hotel room was pleasing, clean and had up to date furnishings. Kudos for the mattresses, pillows and linens. Good free breakfast food buffet with options. Food service staff and reception desk staff.professional and pleasant.

The hotel is great but under construction with construction outside as well. The pool water was green ugh! Need someone to tend to that. The front desk girl Chelsea was extremely wonderful and made our stay extra wonderful.

The property staff was extremely nice upon checking in at night . The breakfast was a nice little perk. The rooms and bathroom need some work. The bathroom ceiling was rusty and the tub had a stain on it . The carpet in the bedroom looked dirty.

3 of us enjoyed a one night stay over when traveling through Charlotte. Yvette checked us in and she was AMAZING!! Loved how sweet and helpful she was.
Rooms were clean but we had issues with the electrical outlets not working. Beds were OK for one person but our bed caved in the middle making it hard to sleep in. Overall a really great location. Beautiful town too!!

We came in a night early without a reservation. Although they didn’t have our reserved room for that night, they had one cleaned and us moved into our reservation the next morning by 9am. We were there with a large family group and the breakfasts were always great and stocked. Every person I encountered was pleasant and kind. The place has (mostly) been renovated and the rooms and beds are lovely. Thanks for a great trip!

Our room wasn’t cleaned day one. Day two when they cleaned our beds were not made, the Kleenex was not replaced (it was empty), the coffee was not refilled, and we did not have a bath mat. The water temperature in the sink NEVER got warm let alone hot. The shower was just warm enough to not be uncomfortable. Al the staff we came in contact with was FANTASTIC.

The staff here make this hotel a true gem. Every employee we encountered greeted us with a smile and warm welcome. Such a rarity these days. The beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was very good! Will stay again

The check in was easy. Staff was friendly. But the room had problems. Bugs on walls & floor. Refrigerator was dirty. Tub had horrible rust stains. Water flow in toilet was very low & tissue clogging up quickly. Hot water takes a long time to get hot.

This was such a fabulous hotel! Charming in every way. We stayed with our son who took the loft bed and he loved it. Walkable to everything including transit in and out of town. Highly recommend !

I haven't stayed at a HI Express in many years, and I was pleasantly surprised. Room was spotless as was lobby, elevator, and public areas. Staff was ok, efficient but not warm or welcoming.
