Great central location, parking right across the road, very friendly and helpful staff. Was pleasantly surprised by the range of equipment in the gym. Pool, sauna/steam facilities all very good too.

Very nice hotel with a great pool which kids love. Staff were very friendly and helpful. One drawback for us was the room was situated beside the delivery gate and we were woken early (before 7am) by delivery trucks beeping. Otherwise a nice stay.

Hotel was beautiful!! Very updated and beds were comfy!! Really appreciated the fan in room. Had an issue with pur reservation that Hotels.com could not resolve but hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect . Thank you Simona!!

While we had comfortable beds, clean rooms, and a great breakfast, the shower water never reached a temperature above lukewarm. We want to recognize Nina at the front desk for helping us with the laundry service and Ross for excellent customer service beyond his job description.

This hotel was in a great location to everything we wanted to walk to. The front desk were very friendly and kind. However, the cleanliness was lacking. Upon entering the hotel the front carpet was filthy looking with stains. The halls to the rooms were very run down. Whatever cleaning product they used was so strong it almost gave me a headache. I definitely think this hotel needs to be renovated and was not priced appropriately.

We spent our first two nights in Ireland at Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel after our arrival in Dublin. It was an easy drive from the airport. There is free/validated parking across the street. The hotel was centrally located to everything Kilkenny, and the surrounding area, has to offer. The hotel itself was very clean, updated, and comfortable. The breakfast offering offered everything you could want and was delicious. We ate dinner in the restaurant and found the menu selection to be varied and the food to be very good.
The entire staff were welcoming, helpful, cheerful, and very willing to offer help which made our stay wonderful.

Couldn't beat the location! Just a couple minutes walk to Kilkenny castle and all the restaurants and shops you'll want to visit. Don't miss the Smithwicks Experience, we enjoyed it more than the Guinness Storehouse!

When we arrived, our toilet did not flush. Three different people had to come to verify that what we said was true. They moved is to another room, which was a triple above the bar. Noise from that bar past midnight made it difficult to sleep. Went down for breakfast the next morning, which tasted very good. But then within 20 minutes, I got sick and vomited. So although this hotel gave off a very good impression and was wonderfully located, our experience did not meet our expectations.

Really poor stay overall and very poor value for money. €340 for one night b&b. Staff were lovely and all very pleasant at least. The hotel has no carpark, you have to use a multistory across the road which is pretty inconvenient. Room was shabby looking, needed to be painted and freshened up. It was generally very grubby too. Bathroom wasn’t very clean cracked and broken sink and fixtures looked dirty. We were charged a €6 tray charge per person for getting breakfast to our room which I wouldn’t mind paying if the breakfast were edible, which it wasn’t. Safe to say we won’t be returning.

The hotel appeared quite worn, a 70s building with a shower in the bath. The room was very bare and no fridge or coffee machine. Very expensive for the facilities in the room.

Check in was easy and staff friendly. Parking garage for hotel is across the street but staff made it easy to validate the parking ticket for a discounted rate charged to our room
Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. No fan or air conditioning however, windows could be propped open.
Hotel lobby was nice with coffee bar.

Good location and walking distance to great restaurants, bars, live music and Kilkenny Castle.
