A very pleasant five star hotel. Quiet surroundings, polite, correct and friendly staff. Very nice and clean room. Beautiful, spacious lobby with cafe, bar and piano in afternoon/evening. Perfect for coffe, snacks and atmosphere. In my opinion one of the best hotels in Germany.

Nice, large rooms and nice quiet location. But, service defintely could be better for a five star hotel. Our rooms were not ready at check in time and no compensation offered + they forgot to clean both of our rooms (we asked for cleaning at 2.30pm).
Missing possibility to make coffee and tee in the room or at least in the hall way.

Clean and cosy room with carpets on the floor and with furnitures in yellow colors mixed with wood. I liked the vibe. Both classy, relaxing and luxurious. Staff was nice and sweet. Only one thing to point my finger at - when getting breakfast you also get a "receipt" to sign, even though breakfast was included. I never found out exactly what it was. Maybe tips? And it would be nice with an explanation, instead of just leaving it at the table and walk away.
Nevertheless this is the hotel i will go to again, when visiting Hamburg next time.
The spa department was so nice. But i would be nice if you could go there with your kids after 18 😊

This is a fabulous place. Luxury everywhere. The room was large and light with quality fixtures and fittings and the rooftop bar is splendid. Breakfast was worth it and the swimming pool was very relaxing. The only place we'll stay in Hamburg.

The staff was very friendly and accommodated me getting there a little early. They were patient with me and my not so good German. The amenities are amazing! Gym could maybe use a little more space but it was manageable. Very convenient location near subway stops. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel feels a bit 90s, well kept but dated.
Service was ok. I arrived 8pm on Sunday and desperately needed a U.K. to EU converter to do some work. After being told they ran out because it’s so busy I went down to reception to double check and found multiple ones. We asked for a breakfast box only to find out it was forgotten about when we went to pick it up from reception in the morning.
Gym is tiny for this size hotel, couldn’t find a single free machine had to come back at 9pm.
No coffee/tea facilities in the room.
Overall it wasn’t a bad stay, rooms were clean, beds comfy, location is good, breakfast was decent and service was friendly. But I would try other 5* hotels in Hamburg for rushing back.

At the reception the staffs are arrogant. We had a broken safe that was not fixed during our three day stay. Breakfast could be better for a five star hotel.

Everything top, great choice of restaurants, nice SPA, friendly staff. In the bar they even made a Shirley Temple for our daughter who was really delighted that they have it in good old Germany. Location is quiet but still walking distance to all the action in Hamburg.

The toilet was broken and conversations in the next room could always be heard. It was not a very comfortable trip. But the cleanliness and attention were very nice.

We only stayed one night, but all of the staff were top-notch and there were several little touches that made our kids feel special (like child-sized robes and slippers). Highly recommend this property.

We had a 1 night stay when travelling through the city. The hotel has a parking garage below the hotel with easy access elevator to lobby. We stayed in a family room which was clean and spacy. Tried room service and the roof top bar which both were really nice.
In the morning after we took a taxi from the hotel (there are taxis waiting) to Miniature Wonderland, about a 10 minute drive for 15 euros. Spent time there for 2 hours then back, and since checkout is at noon we also had time to use the SPA pool the day after, located conveniently accessible so you can change in the room.

However now charging €12.00 for tea/coffee facilities in the room. The rooms no longer have individual iron/ironing board either. Not very convenient for a business traveller.

Beautiful Hotel, the first guy at the front desk was friendly, helpful, other front desk not too friendly.
At breakfast time one lady is always watching you, what you eat, what you do, you feel like you’re doing something wrong when you get up to get your food, it’s a buffet, she came to us in a bad way to tell us , to do not use the glass cups to serve yogurt, because it’s going to be difficult for them to wash the glass.
Check out, do it on time because you have to make a line and wait for your turn until they finish check ins.
I won’t stay there any more, just for the unfruitful and unhappy staff.
