It is beautiful, very close to Iguazu falls, with excelent breakfast and dinning buffet. Has lots of ammenities and gorgeous pools. Only draw back pools in September to cold for my preference, a pool heater will escalate this hotel to superb.

The property is beautiful and grat for the whole family. I went there with my daughyer for her sweet 16 and she loooooved it. Fantastic pool and sauna. Amazing food at the hotel. It is directly across the street from Dream Park which is so.much fun. It was a cheap and quick uber ride to Parque Das Aves and Iguaza falls. We loved it. Support the local vendors outside of the parks too!! Theyre wonderful

This hotel is the perfect base for visiting Iguazu. Close the the falls and the airport. Really nice swimming pool and friendly staff. I would recommend it.

The staff is very attentive and has very good service. It is convenient that they have a travel agency inside that helps you a lot with activities in the city. It is civilly convenient, pleasant, excellent and clean.

It was a really beautiful hotel. Good swimming pools. Towel service. Easy to order drinks etc. buffet was fantastic and spacious. Really good hotel. One very big negative. The staff speaks terrible English. Really very bad!!

Room was very clean and comfortable. Tv did not work, but only went to use it once. Dinner quality was hit-and-miss, so I recommend finding dinner in the city. Breakfast was good. Staff are very courteous and helpful.

Cool resort with lots of facilities on site. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only feedback is that our room and bathroom were not 5 star resort standards. It was small and quite basic facilities. But overall no issues.

I would rate this hotel 6 stars if possible. There are multiple beautiful outdoor pools , of course we didn't use them.due to cold weather. There steam and sauna room, i used the sauna room, very nice experience. There is one main restaurant and one sishi bar, we had dinner at the sushi bar, very good quality and fair price. The main restaurant offers buffet dinner at B$95 each, but we didn't try it since it is a bit too heavy for us. The breakfast is absolutely exceeding our expectation,, it offers so many choices of high quality meats, eggs, breads & cakes, fruits, freshly pressed juices, milks & Yougert,. It has the quality and variety of 5 star hotel buffet breakfaat.

The pool was very dirty when we arrived. It was very busy. The pool bottom was slippy with grease and there was things floating on the top of the water. I didn’t want to go in for fear of becoming ill.

They do not offer a 5 star service or facility. Only half of the complex is new but the rest the regular comfort rooms are in the old building which is under remodelation. I had to stand hammering noise and thumping until the last night of the stay we were moved to another room but only because Expedia advocated for it. The first night I complained I was not even offered to be moved even though they were men outside ny window eith latters and tools climbing up and down for construction work. Horrible experience

Our stay at Eco was amazing. We loved the pool, the cleanliness of the room and the service.

Check in at the front desk and then again, at the separate building we were sent to. 1 and 1/2 hour later we were finally in our room. This after a very long trip… needless wait of our time. Check in process should not take longer the 15 minutes with no wait in line and previous reservation.
Midway through our stay we lost power and had to move to a different room. Guess what? Wait in line again so they can transfer us to a different room. Another 1 hour of our vacation we will never get back.
With all that said. Workers were nice. The not is nice. The pool is very enjoyable and location was great proximity to the falls and bird park.

I was given a room with no working AC and it was over 90f temps and had a completely sleepless night and they finally moved us to another room the following night after a lot of hesitation and repeated follow ups. I would stay away from this place!

The resort was well laid out with all of the facilities you would normally expect (pool, spa, etc.). The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Their ability in English was somewhat limited, but no major problems were encountered. Meals were exceptional with a wide variety of choices. They have an onsite tourist office that made booking transport to/from airport, visits to local attractions (the falls are a must), very easy and efficient. The only downside was the amount of construction taking place just outside the resort area (widening of highway) which was out of their control. Although this slowed down getting in / out of the resort, there was no noise issue once you arrived. Overall, I highly recommend the Eco Cataratas Resort for long / short-term stays.

Very conveniently located to get to Iguacu falls. Hotel was great for our family and having two swimming pools was really nice. Lots of activities for the kids. The main swimming pool is very nice, but can be loud and busy so it was nice to go to the smaller, quieter pool at times.

The air conditioners in the 'comfort' section of the hotel were so loud that they shook the rooms. Every room has one of those external compressors and the windows were sliding glass wisps that partially closed over metal, ventilated window enclosures. The bathroom light could not be turned off as well. One of the worst hotel stays in the last 25 years of business travel.

Warning: this hotel is freemium to the point of scammy. Most of the amenities are paid additionally and all of them are designed so that you pay for things you don't really want. You can't tell from the pictures but the architecture of the place is tasteless and designed to give the appearance of offering way more than it actually does. My stay was short but I really enjoyed the buffet and the room service options they offer. The buffet area has a stunning view Foz de Iguacu. In addtion the hotel is very close the the Iguazu Falls which is the main attraction. They offer tours and transportation to the falls. They also helped me find a place to the local currency (Brazilian Real)

The in room cleaning was terrible in the comfort rooms, make up stains on the bedding and empty toiletry bottles left in the shower, bugs on the bed etc. However the staff was lovely and accommodating. Also the tour company on-site was very helpful.

Clean property- looks like new. Beautiful hotel grounds, very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was great with many offerings. Hotel is in a safe area. We had a room with a double bed and 2 twin beds for our family of 4. The room was huge and very clean. We would certainly stay here again. Everything was great!

My son and I loved this hotel from the moment we stepped through the door. The service was amazing, the food was outstanding and the facilities were immaculately clean. Sitting by the pool was very relaxing.

This hotel is perfect for staying a couple of nights when you go to the falls. Make sure you stay in the new section of the hotel. The older section is very old and tired. A very nice breakfast and a very pleasant staff. The pool is beautiful. The view from the hotel is great and relaxing. You wouldn’t think so because across the street has tourist entertainment no worries we didn’t hear anything.
A tip you can urber/taxi to the falls. We purchased tickets on-site. This was during the off season. Super easy. You don’t need to have a special tour to get there.
