We found multiple hairs in our bathtub when we arrived in our room. Unacceptable!!

The adjoining room was very loud and I could hear every word they were saying and even hear them arguing. They even set off the smoke alarm and filled my room full of a burnt smell that lingered for two days and even made my clothes smell terrible. I asked the front desk if they could bring me some room spray and they asked me to come down and get it myself.

The room wasn’t clean, I could clearly hear my neighbors talking at regular levels. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work, there were hairs in multiple areas of the room (bathroom, bed). The pool was closed. There were water leaks and holes in the ceilings. The only positive things about this hotel was the breakfast options and the premium channels on the tv (hbo).

We booked this hotel for a pool weekend with our kids for my birthday- drove all the way here (2 hr drive) and the pool isnt working. Literally hotels never have working pools but advertise it- its fraudulent

Need.parking lot lighting. No lighting in the room entryways. A/C thermostat control doesn't hold temperature. It's either too warm or too cold.

It was okay beds are hard and the air conditioning in the room will keep you awake all night. Very happy the bath actually worked so I could give my son a bath other than that I did not enjoy the stay

The staff are wonderful. It’s under remodelling right now which did not disturb my stay.

They are remodeling I picked Holiday Inn because I expected a better experience. The fitness room is not available. Everything was dusty and dirty from the remodeling. We had long black hair on our bathroom floor. Overall I was very disappointed in this Holiday Inn. It is disappointing to pay the full room rate and receive a room that is more in line with the cheaper hotel chains.

The lobby is being remodeled but the staff were great. Olive Garden is right next door. Super comfortable bed and pillows.

This is usually my go to place when I travel to I,C. On this trip I did not receive the room that I signed up for through Expedia, I saw no mention that the building was under construction and the parking lot leading to the lobby to check in was in terrible condition due to the weather. Bumpy, snowy and slippery.

overall it’s nice room friendly staff when you see them probably working in other places then the front desk. Convenient to the University of Iowa hospital. Lots of Food options Mall is 5 minutes away walking

Strong odor when you entered the building, location was dark, not well lite and it was loud. Walls seem thin and could hear quest beside me, cough, snoring and other strange noises like using the bathroom and toilet flushing. The outlet in the room looked like it had mold or burn marks around it. Metal from Bed frame stuck out and was unsafe. I don’t recommend this property

The card entry system needs to be fixed. Had to have cards reprogramed every night of my stay. Also room was advertized as handicapped it was not. Tub was not handicapped accessable.

We booked 2 rooms. The toilet in my daughters room was plugged when we showed up and not cleaned. Hair on the bed. Our room had not been vacuumed in a while. Probably should pass on a stay at this one.

The room was small for two queen beds. Barely could walk between the tv stand and beds. Only one elevator. Not convenient when told all the rooms are sold out. It was not worth close to $200 for one night. I’ll never stay there again
