Reception where very friendly

Unfortunately could not stay in the hotel as it was overbooked !

Quite a regular Ibis. Expensive for what it is... It was clean and bar was open 24h which was nice since I had to work very late. Didn't eat the breakfast so can't say anything about it. Rooms didn't have any "don't disturb" signs, which lead to the cleaning lady waking me up. Was a bit annoying. Also I found the receptionist on my way out quite rude. I checked out shortly before 12 o'clock, went to have a coffee next door (where you can also find a grocery store which is handy) and was on my way out from the parking around 12.30. The machine wouldn't let me out with the parking ticket, so I went back to the reception and the receptionist starts lecturing me how in "every" hotel the 1 day paid parking is only until 12.00... As I stay about 100 nights a year in hotels because of work, I know for a fact what she was saying is not true. It can be sometimes only until 12 but not always! Actually usually it is 24h from the time of entry, or they ask/tell until when you want/can park and this time nobody asked or said anything when I paid for the parking while checking in. As I tried to point this out to her, she would just keep talking louder on top of me and would not hear me out. I mean, who acts like that in as a receptionist?! Wouldn't stay here again. Pay 40-50 francs more and stay somewhere in Zug.

I would say the state met my expectations, but my expectations were not high to begin with. It is a nice but quite basic hotel. An upgrade of the breakfast, so-called breakfast buffet, I would give it a better review from my side. It was quite limited and boring.

It's a basic hotel but clean and decent breakfast. Self-parking is complimentary.

The bathrooms are due for refreshment. The bedroom heating was erratic .

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was clean and plenty of space for one. Breakfast was basic, but there was plenty of choice and no reason to go hungry. Amazing value for a basic hotel. Great location for both trains and buses.

Nothing except the price, last minute booking, room was just ok to crash for a night.

Very conveniently located at the train station with many quick connections to Zug and the surrounding region. The hotel is clean and has the standard equipment of an ibis hotel, which means there are no negative surprises but that it lacks a local flavour.

The room is a bit too small but great for the price. Right next to the supermarket and the train station. Great location.

Perfect for working in Zug as very simple bus departing right in front of the hotel works as a brilliant link. Also train station being right in the front of the airport means very smooth journey. Overall fantastic hotel.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, very clean hotel, very attentive. We were travelling with a baby and they gave us a bigger family room which was great of them and made our stay that extra comfortable and special. Will be gladly back again

It's a very small hotel compared to what I'm used to in North America. But it is well maintained, very clean and right across the street from the train station do it's a perfect location. There are also grocery stores in walking distance

Hotel was fine for an 'affordable' stay. Air conditioning in the room was good. My only 2 gripes are there was no tea / coffee making facilities in the room, and breakfast was quite a let down (not much left after 9:00am and the little bit of scrambled egg was cold and soggy)

Minimalist type of Euro hotel, no frills but clean and comfortable. Right next to train/bus station and many decent restaurants nearby.

Stayed three nights for the third time in three years. Good value but we will be trying a new space for some variety in the future. That being said, really for couples or singles only, rooms are tiny and bathrooms are even smaller. The convenience of the location (across from the train station) and next to a market are really big pluses.

Not a great room as there was a weird smell. No coffee or tea making facilities.

Had the nicest man working on the evening of April 7th. Excellent customer service!!! Lady working the evening of the 8th-not so great. Great hotel-we will stay again.

Overall it was easy. Close to the station, friendly staff, quick checkout. No complaints.

A well laid out hotel room And great staff. However. My disappointment was i that booked for 3 persons from the outset (larger room with one dbl & one single bed). It was clearly stated by me. Yet on arr hotel collected 3rd person additional fee.. This needs rectifying btw expedia & the property(s)
