Quick trip to Temple, TX. This hotel works very well for us.

When we got to our room we tried to take a shower & the water was ice cold it had no hot water, above the shower it had a big mold spot on the ceiling. The room was a non smoking room & it had a bad smell to the room like someone smoked in the room, there was bugs everywhere in the room.

Small hotel and very clean. Breakfast was good but coffee was weak. The front desk staff really stand out as extraordinary. Just very pleasant and helpful. Room AC struggled but it is 104 outside so that makes sense. Easy access from 35 and well lit at night. Next door to a good steakhouse. I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m in Temple.

The property could use a little updating but the hotel is clean, quiet & seems to have multiple repeat clients. Which says a lot.
I mistakenly didn't reserve an accessible room (still learning) but the young lady was able to correct that for me.

The staff made all the difference in the world. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. They are fully invested in creating a clean, comfortable environment and they all take pride in their hotel. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy, and brrakfast was great.

We had a wonderful stay at Best Western - Temple. Our family was displaced after a tornado and we could not have picked a better place to stay. From the friendly staff, good breakfast, pool, and laundry we were happily surprised and would stay again.

The staff were super helpful and even more friendly!
The breakfast was a "full" breakfast---eggs, sausage, ham, waffles, cereals, bagels, juice, coffee.
The only drawback, which they try to overcome with free earplugs, is that some rooms are close to the highway traffic noise. It did NOT bother us in Rm 122.
Great location! What a fun, family-friendly town---parks, museums, more parks, all kinds of sports. Loved it!

Loud road noise (poor noise insulation), though they did have a bowl of earplugs at the front desk. The room had quite a strong cleaning product smell, but was clean.
Overall, a decent room. Good breakfast selection. The few staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly.

Staff was helpful, the room clean and good-sized. Wish the LED lights were a warmer color, but there were electric plug outlets everywhere. At night you could hear the passing traffic on Rt. 35 but ear plugs were available at the reception desk. Breakfast was varied but not exceptional.

The staff was exceptional! Always friendly and helpful! Facility was clean but very “patched up” due to age. Bed very comfortable and really good breakfast. Appreciated the complimentary earplugs!
Outside had broken glass in parking lot. It was very well lit and felt safe coming and going. Overall a very positive experience.

We actually got a ground floor which we never do because of noise and it was actually very quiet! The staff was polite and the hotel was very clean. Would stay again!

if you are on the high way end of the hotel and especially on the second flow, it is really loud in the room. Otherwise the hotel is ok.

The bathroom was not clean. There were visible “marks” all on the toilet seat. I had to ask the front desk for bleach and paper towels. The room had not been vacuumed. There was hair all in the bathroom, and there was hair in the sheets. I’m hoping the sheets were clean, but it’s doubtful. It was also super noisy as the interstate is right there. The windows were old, and there were no sound suppressing curtains. It was a pretty miserable stay. Had there been an open hotel in town, I would not have stayed. It was definitely NOT worth what we paid for the room.
