This was our 3rd time staying at Plaza Inn & Suites. It is our go-to lodging location in Ashland; the rooms are spacious, facilities are adequate, and the proximity to downtown/the creek/Lithia Park are fabulous. We enjoy the rooms with a ‘garden view’, looking north towards the creek. There are Kuerigs in the rooms (though we would love a kettle), and the bathroom is sufficient. Breakfast leaves a little something to be desired, though they have cereals, decent oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, and Jimmy Dean sausage sandwiches. During our 4-night stay, we ate there twice (the other two times at Ruby’s, best breakfast burritos in town). We will definitely stay there again!

We have stayed at the plaza several times a year for the last 5 to 6 years. The morning breakfast has definitely gone downhill. The quality and the quantity of food isn’t what it used to be.

Only negative was that the breakfast was not too good. Manufactured scrambled eggs and undercooked cheesy potatoes. No fruit.

The hotel is located close to downtown. The one thing I disliked was the pillows they were hard so I had a hard time sleeping.

Everything was great about the stay except that their water heater had broke down and there was no heated water. I took a cold shower in the morning! The Assistant Manager, Melissa, said she could not refund me any money since I went through Expedia(Hotels.com) and only offered that she MAY be able to give me a discount if I stayed there on another date, but that was a "maybe" and was only because I asked about it. Compensation was not voluntarily offered and she admitted that it had to be asked for. In my case, going through a second party, I am told "I would have been able to give you a refund, had you not gone through Expedia. ...I could refund them but they will not give that money to you." It just seems wrong that a hotel that boasts high quality services could not at least give a discount on the next stay, not just a "maybe"

Had a perfectly delightful experience at The Plaza Inn. Check-in was quick and easy with friendly front desk staff. Room was large and sparkling clean, with an unbelievably comfy King bed. The Inn’s location is the best! Kept our car parked at the Inn and walked everywhere in town…..so convenient. The Inn is located in a lovely garden setting, making for a lovely stay. Will definitely stay here every time we are in Ashland. Highly recommend!

Perfect location for our visit to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Staff were incredibly helpful. Easy walk to restaurants, shops and the theaters. Lovely creekside patio garden area for relaxing, reading or just enjoying.

Chose this hotel because it said they had electric vehicle parking but you had to go down to the scary basement that was basically impossible to drive out of without scratching your car and then only had Tesla chargers.

We had a wonderful time in Ashland and this hotel was great. We were able to walk to an area with many dining options, especially since we were traveling with our dogs. We will definitely go back there and stay at this hotel.

It is unfortunate that they have gone to a pay model for late night treats - they used to have free cookies as an after performance treat which was lovely.

The hotel is convenient, the room was clean. The lobby had a weird smell and was a little dated. Staff was not helpful. We didn’t even bother with the breakfast. It was a “meh” experience.

The hot breakfast was nice. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and hash browns. Also yogurt and fruit. I didn't try the waffles or other carb options, but it looked decent if you like that sort of thing. I miss the cookies and pb and jelly sandwiches they used to have.
The back patio and garden are beautiful. It's a nice location for walking to the OSF theaters, Lithia Park, and downtown shops and restaurants.
The room was clean and the ac refreshing during the hot days.
