The staff at Vive Hotel are so friendly and helpful. The valet parking was very convient and the staff were freindly and gave excellent directions and suggestions of places to go drive to. The front desk staff were awesome and gave us great suggestions of places to go eat. Our room was very comfortable. We have a familt suite that was perfect for us and our 2 daugters. We loved that it wasn't a typical "chain" hotel and that it was very unique. We had an excellent stay and experience at the Vive Hotel !

Outstanding service. Mini fridge didn't work, breakfast was as expected. But hard boiled eggs were cold from the fridge 1st day, then warm the 2nd. Wpuld prefer scrambled.

Great service! Hotel room was small, b Ut we knew that ahead of time. Great breakfast (they even boxed up breakfast boxes to take on our early tour). They also had everything needed to go to the beach, and the location couldn’t have been better.

The Vive Hotel is a sweet hidden gem-very well located on Kuhio next to a bus stop, across from quick Mom and Pop spot-Musubi Cafe awesome and fun! Waikiki Beach is a 5 min walk….the hotel provides beach towels, mats, chairs but….the best “extra” feature of the Vive is a fresh daily all you can eat breakfast buffet complete w 5 types of cut fruit, eggs, bacon, toast, multiple pastries, hot cereal pineapple juice and Hawaiian coffee!!! It’s excellent and becomes quite a money saver esp if traveling w a lg group. Thank you Vive-service throughout the hotel is stellar, too!

Felt extremely welcomed from the moment we arrived until check-out. Numerous personal touches and excellent location just minutes from Waikiki beach. Breakfast was fresh and very good.

The VIVE was located a near the beach, shopping and local food places. The staff were polite and friendly. We were warmly greeted by valet Arnel and checked in by Rachel at the front desk. The hotel provided umbrellas, mats, beach towels, chairs, cooler bags, ice and filtered water which made the trip extra enjoyable while saving us time and money. We started every morning with a complimentary breakfast that also kicked off our day with a smile. The room was a bit dated and the air conditioning unit was noisy but did keep the room cool. Overall we would be back for the value, location and most of all the friendly staff.

They need some update like the furnitures.. I almost fall from a high chair, beds need to be change, maybe some touch up paintings esp the bathroom, change the fixtures.

Staff and service are wonderful. Very knowledgable of the area and other info that I needed (transport, postage). A very short walk to the beach. Amenities fee for each day supplies beach neccessities (chair, towel, umbrella, bag). Breakfast is so-so (not a fan of the cold egg or powdered egg). I love the freedom to use the lounge area. Easy access to the nearby eateries (Blue Ocean, Maguro Poke Bowl). Room facilities are a bit run-down (broken cabinet door, no room slippers, overworked aircon unit, slopping bedside cabinets, musky carpet), but I can see that the housekeeping worked hard to upkeep them. Overall, the stay is okay, if not fussy. Anywhere else cheaper will be worst, or pay waaay more for high-end hotels.

Very close to the beach, we walked 2 blocks, very friendly area, surrounded by food trucks that were recommended by locals, close to the shopping area, tours have a great system for pick ups and drop.offs. the Vive continental breakfast was great, the room was cozy, the staff was friendly, I love having access to coffee, tea or fruit enfused water all day, we were able to borrow towels and snorkling equipment to use. We definately recommend Vive Hotel.

My new favorite hotel for Oahu trips. Affordable, the staff is the best part. Rooms are designed and decorated like a small Japanese apartment. Breakfast is incredible which make thins so easy. They also have everything you need for a beach visit

This property was ok and simple, nothing fancy. It has no pool but beach is nearby. They definitely don’t have an ocean view, so don’t be fooled when booking online.

Vive Hotel was clean and staff were polite and friendly. Our room looked nothing like the photos and was very small. The air-conditioner was extremely noisy but worked well. House keeping was alittle all over the place- missing days here and there. Continental buffet breakfast is ok- the only milk they have is a variety of sweetened consensed milk which was revoltiing so we bought our coffee from Starbucks about 10 min walk down the road. This hotel is a five minute walk to the beach and everything is of walking distance if you dont mind a walk. Zoo & Aquarium about a 15 min walk too..The corner Poke bowl place across the road is a real gem!

Hotel was well presented and rooms were modern and clean and wifi was fast. Staff were also very polite and eager to assist. Breakfast was also included which was very handy and a good way to start the day. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was in the center of everything. Really no need for a car. The breakfast most of all is what got me hooked. Full hot breakfast bacon eggs waffles. If you didn’t like something. You just didn’t like it. This place was excellent. Would recommend. And would definitely stay again Hospitality at the desk was exceptional. And the valet parking. The attendance were amazing.

At check-In *Cory was an awesome host and every encounter with him was awesome. ***There is NO Laundry facility ***There is NO Restaurant Room Service Was Poor!!!! Room Service Helped Themself to money I left and didn’t even change bedding. The next day NO SERVICE AT ALL!!!!!! “NONE” Poor Plumbing “Construction In Progress” and no notification of this before booking - I would have paid more to stay elsewhere if I were informed. I had to even ask for a new plastic liner for the Ice Bucket, but was told I would have to “Return To My Room For The Bag, and Then Return To Lobby To Fill With Ice” Cory went above and beyond, and is recognized and acknowledged for his amazing service. My suggestion- Have Cory Lead Team Customer Service Training Everyone there but Cory and 2 other women who worked the desk, need more service training!!! If we ever visit VIVE again, it would be praise Cory and the 2 ladies and treat them out to things for their wonderful hosting and SKILL SET - The fact that Expedia was given the information that there was laundry and restaurant on-site, I am very reluctant to use Expedia for booking future travels. Expedia needs to confirm the information is correct… EXPEDIA - Please remove laundry and restaurant amenities, as they ARE NOT THERE…
