I dreaded going out of my room because I had to go back to the reception on each of such ocassions for help with the door key. The WhatsApp number provided to reach the reception was not attended to when I needed heater in the room because the heating system wasn't working. I had to go to the reception where I was handed a heater. I certainly will not use the facility again.

Great location with ample parking & gym Not to sound like Goldilocks but the bed is to hard and the shower doesn’t switch from bath to shower and no other rooms available

What a nice surprise was this hotel! We booked a budget hotel as we only came in the area to visit a dealership however we were very pleasently surprised with this hotel! The staff is extremely nice (especially lady at reception), restaurant was ok (Faye was very helpful 👌) and it even had a pool and a play area for the kids! The rooms are very spacious and we even had a sofabed for my toddler! I must say this is very good value for money and it makes me question all these 4 star hotels that overcharge for the same type of services...Well done, Novotel!

The welcome to check in at reception was a little cold. The gentleman who dealt with us could have had a more friendly chatty manner. Facilities here are great pool was lovely. Would stay again if in the area

2 day stay - good choice!!

Beds are uncomfortable i asked for extra duvet got told to wait 20mins never turned up

Good spacing for the room and peace & quiet. Late check in allowed.

The service was ridiculous. When we checked in there was no hand soap & shampoo in the bathroom. We did request for this.. but they brought it the following day

Not a lot to do in the immediate vicinity without trying to cross busy roads, but the hotel is a good stop-off location if you need to break an M1 journey overnight. The staff are friendly and efficient and the communal areas are well presented, including a nice (but small) swimming pool - reserve your half hour time slot at reception early to avoid disappointment. Our room was a bit tired (with some odd stains on the carpet) and a little bit tight for four people, but was very comfortable and quiet for sleeping. The separate toilet, away from the bathroom, is useful when traveling with a group, but it lacks a sink in the toilet room. A fridge would be a welcome addition to the room (there seems to be enough under-desk space to make this happen).

Good size rooms. Staff tried to be helpful. Good breakfast. Toilets were silly ..very low. Coffee was hideous. Asked to pay our bar bill when we didn’t have one .. a bit upsetting.

The property's exterior is contemporary and well-maintained, offering an appealing first impression. However, the rooms themselves are noticeably dated, which detracts from the overall experience. Additionally, the small window size contributes to a somewhat claustrophobic atmosphere. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, and the swimming pool was a pleasant feature.

Overall is good but our toilet was bad ventilation which is stinky over our stay. Otherwise all good for a family stay. Enjoyed swimming pool although it is small and a bit crowded.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay staff were helpful and friendly. All areas including our room were quite clean.

The staff were odd about using the pool.

The stay was fantastic. We got a welcome drink and were impressed with the breakfast, the decor, the cost etc. there was an incident while we were at the hotel which we were not involved in, and it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. A very, very pleasant stay.

A pleasant stay was nice clean and well laid out. The beds were slightly uncomfortable, specially the sofa bed for my son. The staff were friendly and very welcoming breakfast had loads to choice.

First impression of the hotel was good, very welcoming apppearance with well maintained gardens & reception area. Unfortunately that’s where it ended as the rooms require an update, they are very tired with dated decor & very basic, however the Beds were comfy, Staff were friendly& very helpful.

Room was everything you'd expect. Our nine year old loved the pool, and there were no restrictions on when she could use it. Good breakfast. Late checkout, too.

Convenient for a 1 night stay, rooms are a bit old and dated but the rest of the hotel has been upgraded

The o ly things that is not hood in this hotel is that the room doesnt gave a refrigerator which is really surprising that a room has an isron and hair dryer but NO REFRIGERATOR !!

Wonderful hotel with great value. The swimming pool and buffet breakfast were highlights for us, but the hotel was nicely designed and in a good location.

Overly warm rooms air con doesn’t really work just loud , restaurant serves bland food - ordered a lamb curry on the special Menu, a cup of water has more flavour

Convenient location, close to railway station and retail parks. Friendly, helpful staff. Good sauna. Good value electric vehicle charging. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Good selection at breakfast. BUT… Carpet in room VERY worn and full of stains. Furniture ok but dated. Pool used by baby & toddler swimming company much of the time, so restricted to one guest family at a time and you have to book a time at reception when busy.

Staff are always great but it still surprises me that I have to pay £160 for a room with chipboard on the walls, stains on the carpet and a TV that doesn’t work!!

Second bed (sofa) not really suitable for more than one night, lumpy, uneven and uncomfortable. Hotel and staff great, only one thing spoilt our stay, "air conditioned" Maybe in general areas but room, no! When I enquired I was told rooms not air conditioned but air cooled? NOT the same, room was warm, stuffy and humid.
