Everything felt damp! The beds, the pillows, the floor/carpet...

Front desk and breakfast staff were absolutely lovely. Room was large, but bathroom wasn't well cleaned (hairs were present that weren't ours). Beautiful, quiet, nature-filled surroundings. Biggest let-down was the "breakfast" which consisted of two types of miniscule pre-packaged muffins, two types.of granola bars, apple or orange juice (both tasted funky, like expired) and coffee or tea. We booked here since it included breakfast, but there wasn't enough in quantity nor quality.

The property is old and outdated the furniture, bed and carpet are all old and dingy. The room smelled Musty.

Except the staff, nothing was great about the hotel. Expedia and the hotel have LIED about free breakfast or on-the-go breakfast. They served a jar of coffee and some stale muffins. its a no no.

The carpet was bumpy and a bit dirty. When I walked around in my bare feet, and then stepped into the shower, the shower floor was black from the dirt I picked up on my feet from the carpet in the room. The carpet was also damp.

This is a very good choice especially given that it’s right off of 80. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Perfect for our stay to visit the Poconos.

We were in East Stroudsburg for an Athletic event and almost everywhere was sold out due to a NASCAR race in the Poconos. The reviews had been promising, so we gave it a chance. The staff was friendly and the property was well lit, but the room was just dirty. There’s no way to sugarcoat it - the carpets felt sticky and there was obvious debris all around the furniture and edges of the room. The bathroom wasn’t terrible and there was plenty of hot water, but the shower didn’t drain. The room just had an overall damp, musty feel.

The property was outdated and dirty. The parking lot was littered with cigarette butts and the floor of the elevator was dirty. It needs quite a bit of renovation. The breakfast selections and staff were very nice.

If you just need a clean room in a well lit area this is the place. room very small. breakfast was choice of juice, coffee ot tea and prepackaged mini muffins. mobility alert: even if you get a first floor room there are still four steps to descend to get to your room.

Great price but you are paying for somewhere to sleep not luxury

Very dingy and old. Breakfast was only muffins and orange juice. Bed was horrible and springs were uncomfortable.

Hotel location made it convenient since our friends life close by. Rooms are nice

Location to concert was excellent. Staff were very friendly, helpfull and happy. Downside was breakfast. Juice, coffee and mini muffins. Toast with peanut butter and jelly would have been easy and greatly appreciated.

Loved that this property was pet friendly also very quiet and close drive for food etc.

We used this motel for 2 nights to ride our motorcycle around the Poconos. The freeway on/off ramps were under construction and was a busy mess. The bathroom floor was dirty and the tissues used to wipe it were black. The carpet was very worn, even torn. The AC cooled us but the room stayed quite humid. No elevator to floors 2 & 3 but they were nice and changed our room from 3 to 1 since stairs are a problem for my old knees. But the area was safe and we got a very cheap price so it met our needs.

Nice and clean and helpful

The front desk staff, especially Alicia, are extremely welcoming and friendly! She made the check-in process seamless. The room was very clean and comfortable. With a microwave and mini-fridge in the room, that helped with warming up leftover food. My boyfriend even said it, this is more of a hotel, than a motel. It was great!

Hotel very run down. Holes in carpet, rust on lamp. Nothing nice about our room. Slept with my own blanket & pillow.

Place was filthy. Floor sticky. Entire building smelled of cigarettes. Do not stay there.

A small but clean, comfortable well-furnished room. Breakfast is bad, and the cable TV is terrible (no premium channels, lots of shopping network and commercial filled movies). Convenient to restaurants. Like everything else - you get what you pay for, and overall, this is a pretty good value.

Torn carpets and a LOT of air freshener

Always reliable when I'm passing through the area.

Property was clean and well maintained. Bed in 305 could use and up grade. No support sank in the middle. Staff was phenomenal very friendly and knowledgeable as to where to go for activities.

This hotel is of course old…but curtains were falling off…it just felt unclean all round. Breakfast…well it was pathetic. Just not a place we would stay again

Clean a quiet

Stayed 2 nights and if ever in the area in the future, would stay at this Super 8 again. Check in and out was fast and friendly. The room was very clean, even the TV remote which can be very disgusting. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the small refrigerator and microwave convenient, and the area quiet. During our stay, trash was removed, and clean towels left, which was just fine. Breakfast is minimal, juice, coffee & muffins, and no reason to downgrade a hotel. There is a large Giant very close with a lot of food choices for the microwave. If any of the staff of this Super 8 read this, there is one thing to be aware of: there was an overpowering air freshener smell in the room and my companion is extremely sensitive to scent, getting irritated and congested right away. Luckily, the window opened, and it was comfortable without the AC, so we were able to air out the room. If we needed AC/heat, I don't know what we would have done. Despite that, five stars for the hotel & friendly staff.
