It was a safe downtown, no frills hotel. Room is ok. Breakfast is definitely continental, but better than many low budget hotels.

Staff did not open for breakfast on time. When told that the vending machine was not working, they asked me to go Try it again and did not offer to go look at it.

It's a basic accommodation without any frills, but clean and the beds are comfortable. Only real negative is the breakfast. There's no seating area for all guests (one table with three seats is all that's available) and very cheap food is provided.

The room was very clean and that makes me comfortable. Location is very central with nice creekside walking path nearby and lovely public park for families to enjoy.

We reserved two rooms for our employees that were working on a wildfire. The first night, both rooms had numerous cockroaches and were both dirty. When asked if they could switch room, they were told no. I tried calling the motel numerous times for a refund, which they never answered the phone. They ended up denying the refund through Expedia. I was able to get a refund directly from Choice Hotels. Do NOT stay here...I would recommend sleeping in your car first!

Called the night before to confirm reservation (ground floor, king bed, handicap) they confirmed. Arrived and tried to put us on second floor (no elevator) had one ground floor room not handicap and queen bed. The girl at the desk stated we we check elsewhere. We have stayed here several time and this is the first time treated badly.

Didn't happen. Econlodge called saying Expedia had overbooked the property. Reservation cancelled. Have not seen any credit memo from Expedia to date.

We were given an upstairs room, up a narrow stairway (no elevator). My 82 yr old husband had to haul our luggage up. I’ve come to expect pet friendly rooms will be only adequate.

We couldn’t get the TV to work so we had the girl fix it and then we ended up with only one station. I went and asked for help and she couldn’t work it. She said she would call for help and get back with us and she never did. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Check in and check out were both quick and easy. The bed was very comfortable. Room could use some aesthetic repairs and upgrading. (Still has 1960s mustard colored countertops in the bathroom and the lower portion had a big 6" x 4" chunk broken out. There was a big chip in the shower/tub but the shower worked fine. The sink also had chips and ugly ring stains and the stopper was missing. So if you drop anything in the sink it will most likely go down the drain. The air conditioner worked perfect and appeared to be fairly new. The room was not necessarily dirty but it could use a good deep cleaning. The coffee maker was absolutely filthy inside and should be replaced.

The chair was totally disgusting stained badly. The refrigerator was freezing everything in it and the ac was 3 feet from the bed and blew in my face all night. Was totally not in the best place to put it. Absolutely will not stay there again

It was reasonable price for a one night stay, just a place to sleep. Breakfast was all right, better than some continental breakfasts. Bed was fine, room was clean. Biggest complaints were strong cleaning product smell so that we left the window open for hours, and very noisy pickup trucks entering and leaving parking lot of restaurant with adjoining parking lot.

requested TV to work; staff would check it out..no luck
the phone did not have cord (if I needed to dial out)..even told staff that...the entrance to hall from outside had sign to be sure you closed door (unable to do because of door scraping on door jam)..the outside flower bed needed weeding outside our window (I pulled a few) ...this first night on our road trip was not impressive...

Everyone was very nice...Breakfast was good....The only problem was we only got one TV channel and no other cable.I went to the desk 3 times and they did not resolve the problem.Otherwise very nice people.

The TV didn't work, the phone didn't work, the door frame had been broken so it didn't lock fully.
One block away was a man sitting in his car clearly drugged out - unconscious, maybe even overdosed.
We had planned to stay 2 nights, but left after the first night.
We would appreciate having the charge for the second night refunded to us.

Need to do a better job cleaning. Found dust balls in the corners under the bathroom sink area. Saw a hair in the bathtub when I got into the room. Key cards kept on resetting so I had to have them re-programmed 4 times. I didn’t keep them next to a cell phone so no reason why they should stop working. Continental breakfast was lame!!! No hot food and only prepackaged items.

I found some clothing under the bed. Bed was too soft and not comfortable. Not all outlets were working. The manager was very helpful in getting the TV to work - the remote should be replaced as the batteries are taped in.
