The $50 charge for my one dog was exorbitant

The person at the front desk gave me a room on the ground floor very close to the exit as I requested. I greatly appreciated that! It was easy to bring things in/out and take my dog out when I needed. There was always plenty of poppy bags for her bathroom breaks.
The breakfast was great and I appreciated being able to take it to my room since I couldn’t leave my dog alone. The room was huge! Lots of places to put my belongings. Very comfortable.
This is close by restaurants and the outlets and freeways.

The hotel is really old and dated. Hard to find and at $160 a night way overpriced.

Front desk person was friendly and helpful. Had to move rooms. In first one tv didn’t work. In the second one AC rattled. Killed several spiders and bugs on the floor.
This hotel desperately needs renovating.

Amazing check in from the front desk when we arrived. The room we stay in has a couple crack on the bathroom floor and sink. But overall, we're only using the room for the night and dont expect everything to be perfect. We will stay here again if we ever travel in this direction again.

The front desk clerk was friendly unfortunately the pool wasn’t open at the time that I went. I got to my room. There were still trash near the window and the remote never worked for the TV. The breakfast wasn’t the best.

The service and breakfast were good. The room was pretty good as well (good shower head and good air conditioning). The mattress was probably too firm, and the ice machines were not functioning on the day of our visit

This is the worst Holiday Inn Express I’ve ever seen. Thank goodness the room was clean, the facilities were in terrible shape. The pool was slime green, all the exterior hall security doors were broken so they either didn’t open or didn’t close. Our bathroom tile was all broken up and the elevator inspection certificate had expired 8 months earlier. This hotel is just not being kept up. It’s a shame because Holiday Inn has such a good reputation.

Front desk people were nice, welcoming.
Didn't like cockroach in the closet of our room. The bathroom needs scrubbing, the caulking is moldy and the fan was not functioning in the bathroom. TV remote didn't work right (we did get it switched but still couldn't use the HDMI function on the TV).
Dining room chairs, while functional, have definitely seen better days. The vinyl is cracking and little pieces are falling off.

The Holiday Inn in Barstow were very accommodating during the time when the 15 freeway was closed due to a fire. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and they even give us cookies at check-in.

The hotel was dirty. When i went to check in, the temperature in the lobby was extremely hot. Check in time is 3, i checked in around 345 and my room wasnt ready and they had no ETA of when it would be done. The room had mold spores on the bathroom ceiling, the tub was so dirty it was brown, and carpet in the room had stains all over it. Also the shower had had so much calcium build up on it, it was spraying water all over the place. I only had to stay at this hotel due to a freeway closure, i honestly wasnt expecting much for a hotel in Barstow, CA.

Main complain was TV not working they said there was no tech available he had left, also AC was not working, they tried moving us to another room but smelled like cigarettes even though it was non smoking. Then during breakfast my kids were looking forward to waffles or pancakes they had neither also there oatmeal was instant not in pot like they show in pictures. Also when I checked in the lady could give me my room key her machine was not working she had to let me in with master key. Overall for a Holiday it was really run down. I was shocked.

The rooms were fairly clean. We had to go to the front desk a few times to ask for enough towels for 6 people and also toilet paper because they only gave us one roll for 3 days. The refrigerator wasn't working and the temperature knobs were broke so we lost all the food we had the first night. The next day we had to get some pliers from the front desk to try and turn the temperature up. Luckily we were able to get it working but not enough to keep food in it. Even though the breakfast says it is served until 9:30am I would get down there early. The staff starts putting things away, turning the warm food off and stacking chairs a half hour early. They are not very friendly either if you ask them for anything. Overall, it was it was a comfortable place to lay our heads at night but they need some updating and some customer service training.

Stayed here for one night. The hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The room smelled musty, I’m assuming from the ac. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location had roaches, one client complained of blood on their sheets and housekeeping didn't bother mking my bed when i was out. I guess it's only by request, which they never mentioned when i checked in.

Run down pool and hot tub need maintenance. Both freezing cold. BBQ area dirty. Food over cooked. Apples rotten, bananas bruised. No floored creamers for coffee. In the room itself things were dirty and couch stained. Remote was sticky. A maintenance man walked into me in hallway and rudely kept walking. The next day almost did the same thing.charged me 4 times for only one pet staying one night!
