The hotel photos are very misleading on the website. The place is very dirty and run down. There was mystery red splotches on the wall in the bathroom and on the door that were so disgusting I cleaned them myself. The doors were so dirty with dust and seemingly years of build up. It was clear that people had previously smoked in the room as the lamp shades and walls had brown stains on them. I understand this isn’t a fancy hotel but it was really how dirty the room was that got me.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Only issue, was that it was a bit "loud". You could hear movement in the rooms above and behind. Not that the people were loud, but the wood frame construction did not dampen the sound of movement enough.

This is an older place. Very well maintained, great price and service. If you want luxury, go elsewhere. If you want a solid, comfortable and fair price, with a very good restaurant next door, this is the place.

The Sandwich Lodge is very clean, safe and affordable. The location is very accessible to other towns on the Cape and the Town of Sandwich is a beautiful, quaint New England town. The staff at the Lodge was very pleasant and helpful. My daughter and I stayed in a roomy suite that also had a small kitchen equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave. I would highly recommend staying at this lovely Lodge.

It's an okay Hotel. This hotel needs a lot of modernization. The room 110 have a lot of space for nothing, it's pretty empty. The breakfast was just okay. The pool is nice, with an hot spa if you are not bothered with people who watching you and your family swimming, direct windows from rooms to the pool, weird configuration.

The overall appearance is very poor. It felt like I was in a motel.

New carpets, spacious room, nice grounds and pools. The only thing I dislike is that car alarms ran off five times during night in the parking lot. Each time it rings 20 times. I wish there is hotel staff who could do something about it. Imagine you have to wake up 5 times because of that. I dont know the frequency that happens.

The staff was very accommodating and it was a nice stay. The pool was clean and breakfast was good.

The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The inside pool and hot tub were a hit and the full breakfast filled us up and met muster by my kids due to the waffle maker. It’s also centrally located and close to the ocean.

Spacious rooms, pools were the highlight of the stay and it’s right downtown Sandwich so you have access to so many gems within a few min drive.

I like the room bc was very huge and spacious. It was clean and very convienent.
The breakfast was ok but needed some more choices of food.

We were assigned a wheelchair-accessible room on the first floor that smelled musty. I had to leave the sliding door open to air out the space. ( no screen on the door, hence mosquitoes and flies)
Although the bathroom was large, it was poorly ventilated and remained damp after showering especially the floor. (Probably causing the smell)
The breakfast was plentiful but offered limited variety each day by the lodge. It was a low-end continental buffet.

We have stayed in Sandwich for the past 15 years but first time in Sandwich lodge. The owners are gradually renovating the property and the staff is very accommodating. The property has large, beautiful grounds that if accessorized with a gazebo and Adirondack lounge chairs with umbrellas, would bring out the beauty of the outdoors.
The room was clean, new carpet, the breakfast was very simple. The two pools are a nice touch!

Stayed for a quick one night on a work trip.
The woman at the deck moved my room because there was a large group in the area of the room I booked. I appreciate that since I was there to get some rest and go back to work.
Other than sleeping and eating breakfast I didn’t have much time there. It serviced the purpose of my visit.

Hotel is clean and updated. Nothing fancy but in that area it's still a good deal. We had a suite which was roomy. The complementary breakfast was surprising and definitely a plus. We would return.

This hotel is very nice….a pleasant surprise. The room was huge, clean and comfortable. Two pools to choose from…
Indoor and outdoor with a hot tub.
The breakfast room was small and no ac. The offerings were both hot and cold with a waffle maker. Overall, we were happy to choose Sandwich Lodge and Resort and will stay again.
