Very clean and comfortable - would definitely stay again. Wouldn’t bother with the breakfast again - poor value for money … no breakfast tea - good job I had my own with me.

The actual room was nice, modern & clean. However the experience in general was affected by the lack of facilities and the staffs attitude towards this. We arrived late at night (around 10.30pm) with our 18 month old after travelling all day. We were told despite booking a room for two adults and a baby, because we hadn’t specifically requested a travel cot, there wasn’t one in the room. When we went back down to reception upon noticing this, it was met with disregard and no apology or other options were offered. We were told there were none available and that was the end of it. Where was the baby expected to sleep if not in a travel cot? I have never had to specifically ask for one in any of the other hotels we have stayed in, and we travel frequently. So our baby ended up sleeping part of the night strapped into her pram which was no doubt not very comfortable for her, and when she woke after a few hours had to share the bed with us, which didn’t make for a restful night for any of us, and we had another day of travelling the following day. This situation could have been rectified with a simple apology, & perhaps the offer of some more bedding to create some sort of floor bed etc but nothing. I am not an unreasonable person and appreciate mistakes happen. I was just extremely unhappy about the way it was handled especially given that a young child was involved and given how late in the day it was.

Check in process was quick and seamless but not accommodating of an early check-in. The lobby is incredibly worn but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff were a mixed bag.

The hotel was situated in walking distance to the airport but was very quiet we had an early start and the reception called the room to ensure we were awake. We retired to bed early but didn't hear any noise from outside or inside the hotel

We arrived in the evening and had a meal at the restaurant which was OK but nothing special. The staff were very polite and friendly. Our room was lovely and very comfortable but you could hear the places from the airport but it doesn't keep me up. The bathroom was lovely and clean but the shower did leak a bit and soaked the bath mat and bathroom floor. There was a coffee machine which was handy in the morning as we had a morning flight. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel which gets you to the airport in 4 minutes.

Very impressed with this hotel, nice room, very good breakfast, and attentive staff. It's not the Ritz, but great hotel for the money.

As very poor French speakers, we were pleased that the staff was able to help. They allowed us an early check in (we landed in the morning). There is a tram stop across the street. We walked to a local restaurant for lunch and had breakfast in the hotel which was nice.

The tram is across the street from the hotel with easy access to the city and 3 minutes to the airport.

Bed was ver comfortable and room was updated and modern. Thought the lobby looked like it needed an update to match the updated rooms. Also noticed this property once had a pool which we could see from the end of our hallway. It was green and looked like it had been out of commission for quite awhile. May think of either repairing it or getting rid of it altogether. But asked if I would stay there again…the positives out way the small negatives.

The hotel staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Perfect hotel to stay at if you have an early morning flight. It’s only a 6 min tram ride from hotel to airport

The front desk was very helpful and had great customer service. The bottom floor looks a bit antiquated, but the rooms are clean and modern

We enjoyed its closeness to the tram service, which was excellent. Good airconditioning.

Hotel is within an easy and straightforward walking distance of the airport - also on the easy and modern tram route The bed was very comfortable and the room clean and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful

Comfortable enough for one night, good breakfast. The towels were a little thin. My biggest complaint would be the hairdryer. Anyone with arthritis would have a difficult time using it, because you have to hold the buttons down on both sides of the dryer to use it. Very difficult for seniors especially with this condition

The Brit Hotel is exactly what one expects, a clean room with very few amenities but excellent transportation: a tram right outside the door with service to the airport (also walkable in 15 minutes) and the centre of Bordeaux.

We had an early flight so chose this hotel for our night’s stay. The room was fine. Huge bed in a very small space but it’s was serviceable. The bathroom was great. This hotel is right at the tram stop which is one stop to the airport. It’s perfectly located. Check out was a bit shambolick. We ended up just leaving our room key at the abandoned reception.
