Location was great! There are loads of restaurants and cafes nearby and a grocery store a 2 minute walk away. The downside is that it is very noisy at nighttime with lots of people just opposite the hotel and music. The rooms however were TINY - I mean not even enough space to open up a cabin sized suitcase and the bathroom was genuinely smaller than a cupboard under the stairs. It was also not clean and despite speaking to reception about this it was not rectified. The carpet was not hoovered and full of dust and there was hair on the bathroom floor when we first arrived. Upon staying there they never changed the sheets and did not clean the room thoroughly. The room did not come with a kettle nor tea and there was no iron. To be honest there wouldn’t be space to iron anyway. The breakfast buffet was extremely limited - they had croissants and bread and only one type of cereal. They only had pre-made ‘omelette’ that was cold and bland and no other type of egg. It was disappointing to be honest. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Room and toilet small but fine for our one night stopover in Nice. More than 2 coffee cups would have been welcome. TV reception not great and not many channels available. Breakfast was good with a great selection to suit all and staff working hard to replenish when choices low.

Bed is incredibly small. Wall is extremely thin, you can easily hear the noise of the coffee machine from the next room. Only good thing about this place is a location. It’s guaranteed of poor sleep if you pick this hotel. Plus, check in is not open for 24/7.

This is a small property that is very efficiently run with very helpful staff. There are lots of good restaurants around which are popular with the locals, so you don’t end up paying high tourist prices for average food!

Tiny but tremendous: everything we needed for an overnight perfectly thought out and fit together in our room with twin beds, darkening curtains, smart bathroom. Very kind and helpful staff. Delicious and generous breakfast. In the heart of activity, yet our room was quiet. Just a short walk into the Old Nice.

Fabulous hotel in a lovely part of Nice, near the harbour. Convenient for bars and restaurants and access to other areas of Nice. Newly refurbished and very clean. Staff excellent! The breakfast cafe/bar beneath the hotel was fabulous with a great range of real ales on self service pumps with money placed onto a foam card. Great idea and lovely atmosphere. Has limited basement parking but access was very tight unless you had a smaller car.

Staff was very friendly. Our ability to speak French is not good and they bailed us out by speaking excellent English.

Loved our stay. Small rooms but adequate, spotlessly clean. Helpful friendly reception staff. Good breakfast, perfect location. Some noise from outside at night as mentioned by others (evening rather than overnight) but did not disturb me as a bad sleeper once ear plugs were used. Would definitely stay again!

Great location, bars and restaurants just outside. Short walk to both tram lines. Located centrally between the port (more restaurants) old town and Garibaldi square. Good buffet breakfast, perhaps a bit heavy on bread, less on cooked food. Bathroom clean but a bit small. Rooms equipped with coffee maker (capsules), fridge, small safe.

Good hotel in fine location. Not parking although they said that yes (always full). No Air condition in the room although they said that yes (air conditioner are only active in summer time). The noise is a terrible on the night, specially when you have to open windows because not air conditioner.

First time visiting Nice and found this hotel after reading good reviews about it. Ideally situated for easy reach of the marina, Old Town and rail network the, Hotel Du Pin ticks all the boxes. Friendly staff at reception and restaurant and the rooms were cleaned daily.

This is a comfortable hotel in a great location. We were welcomed when we arrived about three hours before the check in time to ask to drop our bags and to our delight, we were able to check in early. The room is compact 15m sq so there is not much room for cases or storage but we were there for one night so this wasn’t an issue. We had a window with a lovely view and could keep it open at night for fresh air. The beds and bedding were good quality. Although restaurants and bars are buzzy in the day and evening, during the night it is silent. Breakfast was included in our rate and there were lots of choices. I would stay here again for a night or two at the beginning or end of my trip, the neighborhood is very good and the location is excellent.

Were only there overnight, so review is ultimately limited. Staff was friendly, helpful and bilingual. Room was very small. Street noise pretty late into the night, quiet in the morning. Was perfectly fine for our purposes.
