We had reservations at Hotel Belvedere which had to close early for the season, but we were contacted by the manager and offered a room at the Hotel Silberhorn at no additional cost even though it was an upgrade to 4 stars. On top of that, they also upgraded us to a suite with a breathtaking view! The free breakfast was amazing as well as the meal we had in their restaurant. Extremely thrilled with our stay!

Staff was great. The stay was great. The view was wonderful. We booked a Mountain View. I recommend to have the breakfast and dinner at least once. The food is amazing.

Friendly staff, nice and helpful. The beds were not comfortable at all, couldn't sleep well at all, we still have back pain. Very bad pillows and i am not sure why there were no bed sheets, just the mattress cover. Carpets need some good cleaning.

The hotel was beautiful, historical and well kept. Far better than the hotel we stayed at in the valley on our last trip to Lauterbrunnen. We loved the staff, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was outstanding and included mountain view seating.

We really loved our stay in Hotel Belvedere. The rooms were clean, the hotel has cosy vintage interior, the views from window just stunning. And really friendly staff, giving great recommendations on must-see places of Jungfrau. Vincenza is a great host and knows everything about those region and always there to help. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Wengen!

This hotel has an amazing location with great views. Was our second stay here and would go back again. The staff is excellent and even though the decor could use some updating it is clean and charming.

The stay at Belvedere was great! We had a triple corner room on 4th floor with Jungfrau view. First of all, like everybody else said, the view is spectacular and breathtaking! Our room has a big balcony with Jungfrau view and the window opens to Lauterbrunnen valley. It’s really worth it! The room was spacious and bathroom was sparkling clean. And since Wengen is a car-free town and the hotel is on the hill away from train station, it’s very quiet. Breakfast is pretty good with and we had dinner buffet first night for 32 francs and it was pretty good. They also have pick up service from train station when you arrive which is very helpful because walk is uphill, and might be difficult with luggage. Total walk from train station to hotel is about 10 mins.

Great location. Room with balcony with amazing view. Good breakfast and nice staffs. Hotel facility could use some update. Little sound isolation between rooms. A bathroom door couldn’t close. Overall, very pleasant stay!

I spent 3 days and 2 nights in this hotel. It was around 10 mins walk from the Wengen train station. Hotel staff were absolutely friendly and they could remember your name and room number whenever you approached them. The food provided in hotel were quite nice and not very expensive. Definitely recommended!

we were at this hotel for 2 days, they came out to pick up our bags and drove us to the train station as it is hard to walk down with the bags. Their maitre'd and breakfast is very good however the male server was very rude, he shooed us off the table. Besides these 2 great features it was mostly terrible. I stopped by to talk to the person checking us in who didn't do anything for us. We had reservation for 4 people and had paid a upcharge for additional people. they had a normal size room with a armoire with no hangers, a desk, a small side table, a large bed a bunk bed, 3 chairs. this allowed not even enough space to stand in the room or the luggage. It seemed as if the bunk bed was pushed in the room. The bathroom has no exhaust and it smelled like wet dog by the time we were done with the shower.

Very nice views of the mountains and town. The room was clean and the hotel is walking distance to the Main Street and trains. Friendly staff (except the guy in charge of reataurant reservations) They preselected for us a table we didn't want to and we were unable to move to a window table even the restaurant was empty!

The location and view of this hotel are superb. When I opened the window in the morning, I was blown away by what's in front of me, snow mountains, fog, waterfalls, green valley. The perfect view. You have to see it to believe it. Try to ask for a room facing the valley if possible. Bunk beds were another highlight for the family. Food (breakfast and dinner) was fresh but nothing fancy.

The hotel was old but nice. The views were stunning as they are everywhere in Wengen. The employees spoke English and were friendly and helpful. The hotel also had someone pick us up from the train station, which was nice as it let us avoid the walk uphill with our luggage. Our room was good sized, had a locking cabinet, and a couple TV stations in English too. We were near the elevator, so it was a bit noisy at times. Also, the pillows were not very comfortable. The hotel breakfast (included) was nice. We didn't try the restaurant's dinner; it seemed expensive, but it was probably about average for Wengen prices. We very much enjoyed our stay at Belvedere and in Wengen!

My wife and I spent 3 nights here and were very pleased! It has an older, more charming feel to it, which we found to be quite romantic. The service was impeccable! As soon as we showed up at the train station in Wengen, we called the hotel and they drove downhill immediately to pick us up in their electric car. The porter wouldn't even allow us to touch/lift our luggage ; ) (This service didn't cost extra by the way). They did the same for us as we left the hotel! The views from our 3rd floor balcony were unmatched, the breakfast was fantastic (including the buffet servers), and the desk workers were very helpful. We encountered only one "problem" on our last night (which was not the hotels fault) - a group of people arrived late, and they were terribly inconsiderate of others - you know, slamming doors, yelling at each other and acting as if they were the only guests in the building. After about 20-30 minutes of this nonsense, we called the front desk and reported it. They immediately responded and addressed our concern. This was our favorite hotel during our 9 day journey from Italy to Switzerland!
