We come to the Royal Park every year for our anniversary and we love the ambiance and the town of Rochester. Sadly last year and this year we have been overcharged during our stay. When I talk to a manager about it they are extremely rude. I am not sure we will be back next year due to how I was spoken to today by a manager on the phone. We spend A LOT of money during our stay and to be talked down to is not something I am going to tolerate.

Number one most important feature I look for in a hotel is the comfort of the bed.. if you like HARD beds. This hotel will be good for you. It’s definitely not Westin sleep comfort.
This hotel is conveniently located. But starting to show its age
The bath room need some up grading
Parking is convenient and they don’t charge which is a bonus.
Overall. Not bad. But would not stay again do to the beds. Along with the trash trucks banging and clanging outside our room.

Love, love, love this place. My wife refuses to stay anywhere else. Rooms and staff are great, we really enjoy the outdoor patio to have cocktails or nice dinner which overlooks a wooded area and flowing creek.

If the power hadn't gone out, we would have had the best time. We spent 1 out of our 2 days because of the outage. Great place!

Everyone was very helpful. The hotel was very clean and the staff was amazing. Chris (one of the valets) deserves a very special shoutout for making our stay extremely comfortable and inviting. We definitely will return.

A lovely hotel walking distance to Main Street in Rochester which has nice shops and restaurants. Only complaint was that the noise from weddings on two consecutive nights kept us awake and woke us up. After calling to complain, they did turn the music down enough to be tolerated but it was still audible, plus parking was hard to find with weddings taking up all the spaces.

Gorgeous hotel with Venetian chandeliers, marble floors and other beautiful appointments. Upgraded at checkin when I mentioned it was Our anniversary . Helpful staff. Rooms contain many features including fridge, water, coffee maker etc. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful grounds. Convenient to downtown with shops, bars and restaurants. Nearby trails for running or biking.

I loved how beautiful the property is along the river. You can sit and enjoy a meal or drink in Adirondack chairs, or at the restaurant, or play cornhole, or sit by the fire ring. I loved the beautiful, mostly shaded trail system & the free bike rentals. We saw frogs & turtles & deer! The place was clean & friendly.

The actual entrance was not clearly marked and as we were checking in late in the evening we had to wander halls looking for the front desk. Room is pretty and nice but bathroom had exactly two towels.

The property was just ok. Nothing special. We have stayed there many times before, and were much more impressed. We found after we got the bill, there was a 20 dollar a night self parking fee, which we were not told about, and honestly is excessive for that property. In addition to the 15 dollar/day resort fee- for what?? Finally charges came through our CC in piecemeal and didn't match up with the itemized bill, the overall charge amount matched but the charges were grouped and charged by day, very strange. Finally- for breakfast on July 4 there was ONE server in the restaurant. Not great service

We were not aware that the Royal Park Hotel charges $20.00 per night for parking on their premises as an overnight guest...not happy with that. It was not a valet service nor a parking garage...just a regular open parking space.

The clients are a bit spoiled and entitled, but you would never know with the way the staff interacts with everyone. I would stay repeatedly if I frequented the area. Excellent grounds and staff. Terrible clients, but that is not the hotel's fault.

Quick overnight stay to visit with family in town. The stay was perfect in every way. Thank you very much for making our family visit extra special with the comfort of your hotel accommodations. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel. The staff was very professional and helpful. The bed was pretty comfortable and good pillows! We had to pay for parking each night. There was an amenity fee of $15/day, which we didn’t remember seeing anywhere. It’s in a great location.
