We checked in at 3pm but never went to our room. We returned late night to find out they gave us a room that was suppose to be out of service. Mrs Coco took of the issue right away. She was the highlight of our stay. She was very thoughtful and professional. We will definitely be returning. Room was spotless, pool was clean, free breakfast was good.

Horrible. I called the hotel because I wasn’t able to make it on my first day of my 3 night stay and they wouldn’t let me change it to 2 nights. With them knowing I wouldn’t be there Thursday, I got there Friday and they gave my room away and everything else was sold out. Then they refused to give me my money back. My family members rooms were also disgusting with mold and mildew everywhere.

It was awful, so disappointing for several reasons.The door to our room wouldn’t close properly, we had to slam it closed. The bathroom door did not close completely. There were fruit flies and mold on a lamp shade. The water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent. Our room was on the 4th floor and the elevator was broken. The vending machine “ate” my money. The morning breakfast was disappointing- the eggs and potatoes were actually cold. I would never stay here again and I’m disappointed I spent more money for breakfast and a “better” quality stay.

Visiting Waterbury area from out of town for a Family reunion. Picked this hotel because it was pet friendly and have a senior dog with mobility issues that needed to come on the trip. Upon arrival we were informed the Elevator was out with no expected date on when it would be fixed (did not get a call in advance or any notice). We asked for a room on the first floor since our dog could not go up and down steps. We were told there was nothing they could do and put us on the top floor resulting in having to carry our dog up and down the stairs every time (as well as all the luggage and belongings). When we finally got to the room there were dirty wash cloths on the counter, and the shower rod was barely hanging on the wall that just caused it to stay open the entire time. Thankfully we were gone for most of the day, but imagine there are better pet friendly hotels in the area.

The hotel elevator was broken. Hotel guests were in the parking lot cussing so loud and threading to kill each other you could not avoid it. The curtains in the room were torn. When we woke up in the morning the elevator was still broken and the 3rd floor hall had an extremely strong odor of marijuana despite every room number having a do not smoke sign. Will not use this hotel again.

Overall hotel was fine, but the elevator was broken so walking up and down 3 flights of stairs with luggage and hot temps was not welcome. No ‘discount’ do to major inconvenience, in fact they charged us $50 more than the price given in Hotels.com!

The customer service was great. It’s just whoever owns this hotel doesn’t put any care in this hotel. First off … not one but all 4 elevators were out of order. I have a bad back and this was hard going up 4 flights of stairs with luggage. Also to have to go back and forth down the stairs was hard for me and the other guest too. I know because I had to help someone walk up the stairs. The customer service was great and they were very nice. Room service on the other hand told me that I had to yet walk to get more towels even though all the elevators are down and I can’t walk back n forth.
The room was overall clean but don’t walk around in your socks. My socks look like I ran outside for hours with no shoes on. The bathtub made this creeking sound every time you stepped in it. The mattress wasn’t all the way clean.
Overall my stay was okay. Wasn’t the worst … just some good love and tender care to this hotel would be nice.

Unfortunatley, not a great experience. The elevator was out for the entire stay. Upon arriving, the front desk person watched me load all of my luggage onto a cart and then proceeded to tell me the elevator was out so i had to unload everything back off the cart and carry up the stairs. No offer of assistance. The thermostat and phone did not work for the entire stay. We were told we had to schedule room cleanings by calling the front desk with the room phone. Without a room phone, that obviously wasnt an option. On day two i went down for clean towels and no one was at the front desk. I waited for 10 minutes. I later went to the front desk and scheduled a room cleaning for the next day in which i was told was no problem. When we returned to the room that night, nothing was done in our room. We were in a non smoking room, but it had smelled of smoke for first day and a half. We received no pre warning of the elevator being broken and received no updates during our stay. Overall an unfortunate stay experience.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this Hampton Inn. However, I miss having the comfortable pillows that gives a guest a Hampton head.

Staff was professional.
Rugs in room and bathroom floor were filthy. Elevators and treadmill were out of service. Bathroom sink kept filling up because sink filter was all clogged with hair.

We stayed in 2 rooms for 5 nights. The tubs had black rings around the inside of them. The chaise lounge has a back cushion that was torn apart. Only 1 of 2 elevators worked and that 1 elevator was noisy and jerky during operation. Housekeeping did not service our room at all on the posted schedule. The only reason I didn’t rate staff and service as poor was due to a very helpful night manager who told us housekeeping signed off on cleaning our room but obviously that never happened. The manager brought us towels at 11pm. Outside the hotel was average, they have a lawn service. Inside the hotel was dirty.

The people working the property are great. Always have been. Daniel in maintenance good guy, takes great care of the pool, etc. Bad points- rather noisy, but its summer so what do i expect. Only 1 elevator working ( ahain- this is a common occurance), almost nothing in what they call a gym , works.
