This stay would have been an absolute disaster if it weren't for the rooftop pool with cabanas (note that we got lucky to get a cabana because it can be pre-reserved and not available). I had put in a request with my reservation and also had placed a call the night before arriving about an early check in because of an overnight flight from the US. I was told it would be no problem at all to get into my room at least a few hours early. Well it was a problem, and the desk staff was very rude and dismissive. When we did get our room 6 hours later, the design of the shower was so poor that it overflows into the main room and the carpet was soaked from the previous guest. The carpet smelled very musty as if it had not been replaced in years and this flooding happens all the time (happened to us as well). On day 2 we were moved to an adjacent room, and it had the same issue although not quite as bad. With several towels blocking the water, we were able to keep the shower flood in the bathroom. The balcony is unusable since it gets full sun most of the day, and the shade side of the hotel does not have balconies. If you want to enjoy the outside while in the hotel, it is best to go up to the rooftop pool. I would recommend that they replace the coarse sand that is pebble-like around the pool with something smoother, but the pool was a godsend.

The rooms need an update and there is an extra charge to use the pool. What I appreciate is the walking distance to the metro station and the staff being very attentive , helpful and friendly.

The hotel was clean and the service was wonderful. The hotel people went out of their way to help and make sure that our family were comfortable and our 2 year old grandchild got milk before bedtime. We received a bottle of wine for each room and the swimming pool was like a beach - absolutely delightful and just right for children.

Not crazy about the distance to major tourist areas. Its a min of a 10 minute ride.

The staff here are very good and were very helpful. We had 7 rooms with people arriving at different times and the front desk was very accommodating in making our stay here great. All the rooms were spacious, the breakfast was good and the location was not far (500m) from a metro station on a quiet street off a main avenue. Several smaller restaurants nearby for a quick bite to eat and about 1.5km from Syntagma square (bit of a walk when it's hot but you can also take the metro). They also have a nice beach/pool on the top floor which several of our people enjoyed that had a nice view. Would recommend staying here for the staff alone.

Very nice hotel the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the restaurant at the property is very convenient and the rooftop pool is great as well as the restaurant there. Excellent choice while visiting Athens, I will only note that they were not aware of the Expedia VIP.

Staff was fantastic, a really nice hotel. The staff went out of the way to help with giving us suggestions and the breakfast was amazing. I would highly recommend. I know some have slammed the beach at the hotel...but we didn't utilize it so it wasn't an issue for us.

Read the mast few reviews after I had book and was worried that it was a terrible hotel. Staff were amazing, very helpful. The room was very clean and did not smell like mothball as the last reviews said. Saw several complaints about breakfast but we didnt have any issues. The only thing was the use of the pool. Not advertised that it cost extra to use and needs reservations. But in general very happy with our stay. Thank you!

The rooms don’t look like in the pictures, they look like a hostel, we were shocked to see the rooms and very disappointed, almost left to find another hotel but in the morning the staff of the hotel were very nice and try to do the best for us, changed the room to a room with king size bed which was a little bit better and try to do ever for us to be comfortable so we stayed but I must say the hotel is not 4 star and doesn’t at all looks like in the picture.

We stayed here for just a night before heading back to the US. It was only 30 minutes from the airport, but close enough into downtown Athens to spend an afternoon there.
We ended up staying at the hotel all day due to the high temperature and heat that day. Had a great day relaxing at the pool, and a nice dinner at the rooftop restaurant once it cooled down a bit. Room/beds were very comfortable, and it was very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

The bar on the roof is ok, although you have to book a bed by the pool and spend a minimum of 40 Euros, which is a bit odd for hotel guests. The pool itself is not something you can swim in more a large hot tub to cool yourself off and then go back to a sunbathing.
Breakfast was a buffet style with limited hot and cold options, with I believe the option to ask for particular foods and drinks (e.g. Latte).

The staff was very friendly. The hotel is convenient to the subway and there are some good restaurants and bakeries walkable. The bedding felt like you were in a hospital and the bathroom is not the greatest as far as facilities, hair dryers mirrors etc… pool is pretty but very small. It would be crowded if you had 10 people in there. the breakfast was the best part. We would book somewhere else when we go back.

The staff was very kind, even scheduled a 6:15 A.M. taxi service to the ferry port. The hotel was clean, the area was quaint. If you visit the square with the waterfall, go see Solomon at the bar with the green awning, he was incredible! The people and food were just amazing! Made you feel so welcome and at home …. Highly recommend

Cozy hotel room with the best breakfast buffet I have ever had at a hotel. Five star buffet for sure. Only downside was that the Internet was very slow and sometimes disappeared completely. We could always go to the lobby and get better Internet if we needed it.

The hotel is currently under full renovations, it will look great once all is completed. The construction was not a hassle, they were very mindful. Breakfast buffet was very full and tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful, impeccable service. Good location, walking distance to fun restaurants and a short metro ride (or walkable) from major attractions. The pillows were the downside. Overall experience was really pleasant!

Every time I stay at this hotel I feel like I am at home. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Conveniently located towards the center of the city yet quiet at the same time. Disappointed that their excellent restaurant no longer functions for dinner or room service.

This is not a 4 star property. The triple executive room we booked was very small, had poor lighting, and the batbroom was tiny and had poor ventilation. We complained and were moved, rightfully so, to a sister property. The breakfast service was good.

The Hotel is dated and in a very poor location surrounded by high rise buildings on all sides. You have absolutely Zero view and we were on the top floor, 6th floor.
Between 8:30 pm to almost 11:00pm there was no hot water to take a shower. Spent 5 days there in a Suite and was the same every night.
The staff however was very friendly, nice and helpful when asked for help getting a cab, etc.
