We had a great room, right on the beach, and the beach itself was pretty much deserted. The property itself has seen better days but the room was clean and we had everything we needed. Area was about the same, shabby and past its best with limited options for food but again we found what we needed. Would come again.

Staff was lovely and helped whenever asked. Food was great! Very wet weather caused rooms to be damp Great entertainment at outside food area. Enjoyable stay!

We enjoyed the quietness and relaxing atmosphere. However the unit needs to love. One shower was stopped up. The carpet needs to be replaced ( tons of stains). The kitchen sinks were rusted around the drain. The ceiling had dust webs and the dishwasher was never unloaded from the previous renters. Our first time to the outer banks. A little bit of time given to the unit to clean it properly and replace what needs to be fixed would definitely go a long way.Disappointed in the amt we pd vs what we received. As a landlord myself, I understand you can’t have it perfect but like I said a little old goes a long way.

The closeness to the beach, and the staff very accommodating, courteous and friendly.

Property Front desk said the only way to get clean towels, etc., was to bring used towels down to lobby for exchange for clean towels. Had to take waste buckets for the previous days to a corridor waste can to empty. Some of the staff didn't seem to care/indifferent about the Hotel's Hospitality policies. Certainly would not recommend the Hotel to anyone for their hospitality.

Nice clean room with great view!! Easy beach access. Nice restaurant and free coffee!! One elevator not working! One ice machine out of service. Pool area was a bit green and filters were grossly green!!

The direct access to the beach was nice. The restaurant/bar service and food were really good. It was a clean place. I would definitely stay here again!

The rooms had a great view and were very spacious. We had the two bedroom unit on the end. Staff was excellent. This is definitely an old hotel that can only take so many coats of paint. Overall room was clean but carpets were pretty bad. Stains all over. Stains from people spraying their feet with sun screen on the rug. Tells you the type of clientele that stays here if people are doing that in the room. So there also isn’t any maid service which we don’t really need but thought was odd for a “resort”. You can bring your towels to front desk and get new ones if you want. There’s one ice machine for the whole place and it was broke so that may be an inconvenience if you don’t have a full refrigerator in your room. For the money it was decent place to stay with kids and rooms worked out well. Also they have a supper early checkout at 10am and late check in at 5pm. They were waiting at our door at 10am to clean but yet we couldn’t get the room earlier than 5 check in day.

The staff was all very friendly and helpful throughout our whole visit! The room needed attention! Walls needed painted, carpet was stained, the blinds were broke, and the beds were not very comfortable. Everything mentioned could have been better but definitely not anything keeping us from staying again!

Awesome stay! Friendly clean and beautiful. And what a view!

Well, on the down side. The balcony door doesn’t lock. The carpet is dirty and worn out. The elevator call button was out of service the four days we was there and we had to use stairs. No USB charging available. The positives would be that the TV and cable service was modern. Comfortable beds. Hot showers with good water pressure. Air conditioning works.

Excellent location, friendly staff and perfect oceanfront views. We stayed in a third floor condo. The room was comfortable and clean. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was as well as how uncrowded the beach was. The resort could use a facelift but all things considered, I’d definitely book again.

We stayed in a room with an ocean view. The room was very clean and updated. I loved the view. The outside area is old and a little run down.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Ranch. The room appeared clean but had a stale smoke smell. There isn’t any day to day housekeeping, which if but you have to exchange your dirty towels for cleans one with the front desk. This was a little off putting. The beach was great! The view was great! We felt safe and it was quiet.

A bit dated but very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beach access and restaurant was great

Overall we liked the property, however the fact that the elevator doesn’t work to the second floor at all was a pretty big inconvenience for the price paid. It was quite difficult for two people with bad knees to carry luggage up and down the stairs. Had we known the condition of the elevator, we would have booked our stay elsewhere.

Ocean front large condo enjoyed by our family of 5 in the off season. Only downside was walking out in the cold to get to the indoor pool. Close to family activities for the kids to do in OBX. Will definitely be back.
