Modern hotel in Salta’s city center. Friendly staff, quality and varied breakfast, clean premises, and northern Argentinean themed deco. Walking distance to key attractions. Definitely recommendable!

Hotel was on your site as a 5 star hotel. It is more of a 3 star hotel. Very few staff speak English. When we checked in, the reception person spoke no English. We received room 901. Unpacked. Realized the air conditioning was not working (Salta is a warm area). The hotel did send a maintenance person, who could not resolve the problem, so we were given a different room. We were not traveling with carry on only, so it took some time to move.
We sent laundry out, which we also did in Bariloche. The price here turned out to be double! 3 shirts to wash and press, 5 t shirts, 3 pairs of socks and 3 men’s under pants. $50 approximately??!!
The food at the hotel is excellent. However, no one in the restaurant really understands any English. I was brought my starter and principal at the same time. This is language and common sense, no?
The house keeping is good but the bathroom is so old and dated, it is not their fault that the stone has absorbed so much dirt etc. The shower opens 15 inches.
At a 5 star hotel, you are given free water. Have a coffee maker in your room. There is night service to see what you need etc. There is none of that here. And the front desk is hot or miss, if you can find someone who understands any English.
From what I understood from the local people. This used to be a better hotel, that has gone down hill. The owner has a very successful transportation business, so this is a sideline for him.
My advice, book the Sheraton.

The staff at the front desk and the porters were very nice and polite. I would highly recommend the hotel, partly because of the convient location, but mostly because of the excellent staff.

The hotel is very old and has a very strong smell (like other old hotels). The room was big, the bed was hard… not sure if they had bed bugs, but my husband had such a sign (of a bite). The staff was very friendly, but the reception used a very bad exchange rate (and not the official one from the day of check in)… so overall, not the best experience

We enjoyed everything about this hotel. The only complaint I have - I booked a 1 hour full body massage and it lasted 40 minutes. Fifteen was on my back which I requested extra time at booking and after a few minutes on my legs & arms the rest was spent massaging feet and hands on & on & on. I get massages regularly and this is one of the worst I’ve ever had. If you go be sure to take your watch to check the time & tip accordingly. Make sure you don’t get Olivia.

Good attempt at trying to build a luxury type hotel in Salta. While the decor is enjoyable, they have a bit more to do in terms of customer experience, staff behavior, and cleanliness for the price they charge per night. The location is good, but then there are also other hotels nearby where you can get bank for your buck (a bit cheaper than this too).

La calidez y amabilidad de algunos de los muchachos en la puerta, cubren algunas falencias del hotel. Al ingresar a la habitación la temperatura es extremadamente alta, un pelo en la tina y el sistema de Flochage del inodoro funcionando mal , lo deje a propósito , el personal de housekeeping lo vio sin embargo nadie lo reparó ( hasta el día que me funny lo reporte en el front desk , donde me preguntaron porque no lo había hecho desde el primer día .. perdón por no saberlo, era parte de mi función como huésped del hotel ?), en el restaurant para un desayuno ordené dos huevos fritos ( mi gran descuido no indicarle inmediatamente cómo

Cocinarían dos minutos más !!!! El Lobby súper ultra ruidoso por los eventos en las salas de arriba ! Mi primer experiencia lamentable no satisfactoria en un hotel que me deslumbró por las imágenes de su decoración publicada en la internet , que en honor a la verdad lo confirme una vez allí, una decoración no muy recargada pero muy típica y tradicional , fiel reflejo de nuestra esencia como salteños.

Our suite was on the top floor with a commanding view of the city. The room was spacious with more than enough wardrobe/drawer space to accommodate our clothes. The lounge area was comfortable. The king bed was in fact two doubles on the same base but it was comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious with a separate toilet, sufficient light and very airy. There were just enough electric outlets but a few more and maybe a USB or 2 ports would be helpful. The room itself had more that enough light fittings to adjust the mood to whatever you wanted. Housekeeping was very efficient and the laundry service exceptional. There was also nightly turn down service. The gym and pool were very good. The only negative comment is regarding the lifts. They were very slow and at times it took an unreasonable length of time for the doors to open. The restaurant was good, the food was well prepared and the price reasonable. Front desk etc were all very helpful. If we return to salta we would definitely stay here again,

Nice high rise type hotel. Would be 5 star except for over-crowding.
This means its tough to get the attention of the concierge, usually a line whenever I wanted to talk to the front desk for any reason, grid-lock in the dinning room at breakfast, and worst of all at times the elevator takes a while (9 minutes one time!)

Awesome hotel in Salta. Free valet parking. Breakfast had a great variety.
Gym in good condition and all equipment was well maintained and functional. Had enough machines and weights to get complete workouts.
Very well maintained pool, hot tub, dry and steam sauna.
Front desk always very helpful for tourist information and planning.
