The bed was really comfortable and the eggs cooked to order for breakfast were really good. We had a nice time visiting with the owner. The room was very neat and clean. Some updating has been done. Great place, we are going to stay again on our way back through town in a couple of days.

This was our second time at this property. I would stay here again anytime we are in Barstow. Again, the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable. We had a great breakfast with my eggs cooked to order by the owner. We had such a nice visit with her. These are wonderful people who make you feel welcome and are working hard to keep the prices reasonable.

Comfortable beds, no carpet, quiet, and clean. Let’s face it: it’s Barstow, but this place was a happy surprise. The parking lot was very well lit with security cameras—stayed for two weeks for work and felt safe.

Stayed 1 night and was happy with the hotel considering the small town & lack of options. It’s on Route 66, which has many other hotels, but I am glad I made this one my choice. Check in was easy and the woman at the desk was very friendly. When I mentioned I had allergies to pets, she quickly switched my room to one that does not allow pets. She did this without my asking. The room itself was super clean with a small mini-fridge and microwave. The bathroom had a tub/shower combo and the water pressure was great. The toilet was in the same space as the shower and since it was a small space, not much room, but it worked out fine. There was a large counter with 1 sink just outside the bathroom, as well as a place to hang clothes. This was nice and it was easy for two people to use the area at the same time. The bed was super comfortable, had a mattress protector on it, as well as a mattress pad. The only down side for me was the loud A/C unit. It is a single unit, probably original to the property. It worked great even with the outside temperature being 115 degree’s. I would suggest bringing earplugs, which I did, if you are a light sleeper. The breakfast in the morning was nice. The owner will make you eggs or waffles and there are plenty of other things to eat as well (cereal, bagels, toast fruit, orange juice, coffee, etc.) Ww didn’t use the gym or pool so can’t comment on that. I would stay here again.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Barstow!! The owners are kind, friendly, and helpful. They cook waffles and eggs to order for breakfast. The hotel is newly remodeled, and the room felt brand new. The beds were very comfortable & the room was very clean. Small fridge & microwave in each room & a cute towel animal held the soaps & lotion in the bathroom. The room was spacious & quiet.

The owners are very friendly and very accomodating. They want you to have a great stay. They wanted to make sure I had a quiet room. The Accesible room is very accomodating for someone with disability. The husband cooked homemade eggs not prebaggged eggs. Delicious! Did I mention how friendly and caring the owners are. They really want you to enjoy your stay! 😁

Giving all the stars…for the area and the similar surrounding properties, you should just choose Rodeway. Easy check in, all rooms have hardwood floors so you don’t have to deal with nasty carpet, pet friendly, free basic breakfast.

Good place if youre looking to stay into town for inexpensive. When im looking for a place I always need it to have breakfast included as I travel with my young children. This is a plus. The rooms are decent and its a quiet area. Ultimately a great choice for convenience.

We stayed at seven motels in the last couple of weeks and this one was by far the best. The owner was very friendly, the motel room was very well kept and clean, and the breakfast that is served was the best of any Motel we have been in. The owner cooked eggs for everybody and made waffles for anybody that wanted them and had numerous other choices already available including cut up strawberries, yogurt, juices, numerous types of bread, cappuccino, it was excellent.
