DON’T STAY IN THIS HOTEL. Someone stole our computer from our room. We stayed there for a night from Saturday to Sunday in June. I chose the hotel because it had 4 stars and Expedia said it had parking. The first surprise is that DOES NOT HAVE PARKING, the receptionist sends you to a city parking that is 10-min. walking distance (add another 10 euros to your budget). BW will not pay it for you. The 4-star rating is an overstatement. The building is old, lacks proper maintenance. AC in rooms does not work. The coffee machine in the lobby does not work. We were given a room that had no soap and the shower drain was clogged. We asked for a room change and we got the room next door. Both (standard) rooms were small. At some point when we went briefly outside the room either that evening or the next morning, somebody entered our room, opened my backpack and stole our computer and its charging cord. Only that and for that reason we realized until we had left Orleans and had arrived to Paris. I have called the reception three times, I wrote an email… and so far, four days later, the Hotel has done nothing to help me. AVOID Best Western Hotel d’Arc. One of the worst hotel experiences in my life and I am a seasoned traveler.

My second time staying at this hotel it’s really best and clean and the staff are really friendly

pre dinner. Great selection of breakfast is top value. Egg boiler as well as the usual meat, cheese, pastries. Good coffee machine too.

The hotel is centrally located but a nightmare to get to by car as it is an a restricted area. We eventually found it after being misdirected by the sat-nav several times. The reception staff were very helpful and directed us to a secure car park within walking distance (very expensive!) but it would have been better if we had been directed to a car park in the first place.

Only here for an overnight, I wish we had longer. Orleans is such a beautiful city. This charming hotel is situated a great location, close to all the hustle and bustle and sights of the historical part of the city. Do note, the hotel has no parking so Yiu need to sort that out.

The hotel entrance is just in front of the mall/train station and easy to access if you use the underground car parking of the mall. However it was closed on a Sunday when we arrived and that made it difficult to find nearby parking ( eventually we did and street parking is free until 9am). The location is great but the room is very small. The bathroom is extremely small and when we arrived at reception we felt we didn’t get a warm welcome. Not too bad but not great. In the room there was only one set of towels so I ring reception and got the second set fairly quickly. Unfortunately it was stained…. And got it changed again.

Great central location in a lovely city. Recently and tastefully refurbished, retaining the original features e.g. the lift!

It was very convenient as the location was superb. The room was good size and the bed was comfortable. However, the toilet was extremely small.

Quaint hotel with good sized rooms, clean and comfortable. Great location. Toilet housed in a small room, but OK if you're not oversized. Major problem with drainage and the smell of the shower room though - might just be room 30 I don't know. Two weeks after my stay and I can still smell it. I was only there for 2 nights though and only spent a literal 5 minutes in there so didn't bother to bring it up with the management. Breakfast OK. Small selection of breads, coffee, cheeses, hams, jams, etc. as you'd expect from a continental. Bottom line: Comfortable and clean, but beware the smell in the bathroom.

Good central location and nice building. Good sized rooms and bathrooms which were clean and well presented. Breakfast good but at €16.50 per head, was expensive and not good value. Disappointing that we were charged a supplement for our dog, most hotels in France we have stayed at allow him to stay for free. Website seemed to offer free parking, however we were charged for parking in a public car park which was a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Overall we liked the hotel itself, but felt that the costs of the breakfast, parking and the dog supplement did not represent good value

Nice, big and clean room with a view on the main street (but no noise) although we booked during sales. The bed was great with a lot of fluffy pillows. Great!

No air conditioning If im paying for a room with air I either get a room with air or get a cheaper rate. Breakfast has no food.? No croissants no bread nothing is at the buffet and doesn't get filled? Very disappointed with best western

Live that is was in a shopping street, near a big mail. Walking distance of the rest of the city centre. Parking was a bit hard to find, with out knowing we stumbled on a parking space near the hotel. The lady at the front offered a spot in a nearby parking garage. That was fine. But on the site we couldn’t find out about the parking space around the hotel. So that could be more clear on the site.

Bruit constant au troisième étage d’un appareil dis fonctionnant - cela peut arriver mais le personnel n’a rien fait et ne répondaient plus après le premier appel alors que la réception doit fonctionner 24/24. J’avais précisé une chambre calme mais impossible de dormir avec ce bruit d’interphone toutes les minutes. Très dommage car l’hôtel était correcte.

My stay was so good that I extended my stay by adding an extra night. Comfortable bed with a pillow top mattress and plush pillows, excellent air conditioning, and a rainfall shower head. Very happy with my stay!

I have been in France without air conditioning for over 6 weeks. The air conditioning in this hotel was phenomenal. I actually had to turn it off one day for a few hours. The bed was comfortable with a nice soft topper on the mattress. My pillows were fluffy and very comfortable. I also loved the rain shower head in the shower. I was very happy with my stay and ended up booking an extra night just to enjoy the comforts. The staff were kind and helpful. The hotel is also just a two minute walk from the train station and a block away from the closest tram stop. The double-pane windows kept the too quiet at night, so I slept well.

The front desk staff were amazing. As we are traveling by bike throughout Europe, we had a few special requests, including shipping some bike parts to the hotel as well as a request for a competent bike shop for some repairs. In both cases we received prompt replies and both our requests were fulfilled. The hotel is close to the train station and located perfectly in the old town area. The room was of a perfect size for our needs, with a comfortable bed and bathroom. We would definitely recommend the Hotel d’Arc to anyone visiting Orleans. It is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful city.
