My daughter and I travel quite a bit. This was a pleasant stay. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of room and the bathroom was top notch.
Throw the amenities, seaweed bath, and it was all ver the top. Definitely recommend!!

The hotel lobby and bar were interesting and fun. Live music each night. The parking was easy and included. The rooms were musty with very little air flow even with the window open. The bathroom fan did not work to take humidity out after a shower.

This hotel was a luxury hotel with great immunities

Checked-in to a tired-looking lobby. Bags and trolleys everywhere, unattended. Requested dinner at WEST - closed. Room had been "cleaned" but had human hairs still clearly visible on beds and blatant clumps of dirt and dust on head-board, chairs, floor, bathroom. Assured evening meal/room service would satisfy - when eventually returned from sightseeing - CLOSED! No food available, even on room service. Bathroom had minimal towel / accessory provision. Had reserved a massage from the Spa which had been "forgotten"... when called next morning to ask "Where was treatment or where should we go?" was met with absolute ignorance and no useful apology or excuse - just didn't bother to correctly note reservation.... Hotel staff (male receptionist and female massage therapist) had spent previous night banging in and out of doors by my room in loud conversation about using a shower and leaving a key somewhere later that night - complete lack of soundproofing meant that all their activities were very audible and kept residents from sleeping if nearby...
Basically this was an absolute horror show. I had stayed at this hotel previously and was content to overlook certain shortcomings - but no more.
Boutique hotel my foot... it is a tired little place that needs a good overhaul in principles of service and hygiene and standards of hotel facilities appropriate to prices charged. Shame on The Twelve.

This was the easiest check-in and out, excellent service, great food and comfortable room! Loved it!

We had the family suite which had a nice large space. Everything was fine except that the varnish on the tables was very sticky. Felt like there was a film on the tables. There was dust in the coffee cups after taking out the pile of creamers. The fairy door was a quaint little extra and the gift cards for the kids to get a treat at the bakery was a special touch!

This was an exceptional hotel with great staff. We enjoyed our stay there while exploring Galway and the west of Ireland. It is not downtown Galway, but it not far and the property provides a very nice and quiet alternative to the downtown hotels.

The twelve was an excellent stay, so nice to have a suite style hotel with an extra wet bar and couch room. The record players in the room were a lot of fun. Because of this place, I’ll always remember Meatloaf’s “Bat out of hell”. Staff was great and the restaurant for breakfast and dinner room serve was excellent.

Positives- Great location. Beautifully decorated boutique interior. Good toiletries. Great staff. Excellent cooked to order breakfast as well as continental buffet. Amazing food at West.
Negatives- Double bed is two beds put together which was a bit uncomfortable.
The shower gel dispenser did not really work properly since water was getting into it.
Parking was very tight.
Service in both Pins and West was slow to start and then picked up.Dinner at Pins wqs a littlw disappointing.
These were some little things the hotel could improve on.
The positives however were more than make up for most of it.
Would definitely stay again

We loved the Twelve and staying just outside Galway. The Twelve has great restaurant and bar options, big rooms and helpful staff. We ate in both the gastropub and the fancy restaurant and both were excellent. Breakfasts were also wonderful. We really enjoyed coming back every night and having a great place to stay

king suit room is very spacious, very well designed and so comfortable for stay , they even have a record player and some album. Also not far from city centre by car

It was a nice facility and the onsite parking was convenient. Our waiter for breakfast was very attentive, despite the fact that he had a very large tour group to take car of.

The hotel was clean and large and had convenient amenities like a good coffee and tea selection. While I appreciated the unique decor, we did not find the beds very comfortable and the room was not cozy. We also left clothes in our room and when we inquired about them we were told that they were not found. 😕
Pluses are that there is a great restaurant onsite and we really enjoyed our meals there. The included breakfast was fantastic.

The Twelve was perfect for a weekend stay in Galway. It was a great sized room with a king sized bed. Lovely little touches... a welcome card with some cake from the bakery on arrival. Even though there is a busy bar/restaurant on ground floor and another restaurant on the first floor it was really quiet. I would stay again!

Our stay at the twelve hotel was wonderful from the hospitality of the staff, great service, and wonderful breakfast every morning that was included within our package. The property itself is tucked away outside of downtown Galway but close enough to drive in or take a taxi to the city center. It is very quiet and perfect for families as they have suites with an adjoining room for kids.
We had a party of 10 ppl and each family thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the twelve hotel. We look forward to visiting again!

Great location outside the city, perfect for my ferry out of Rossaveel the next morning. Knocked it down a star for how horribly disappointed I was by the mattress with springs jutting in to me, noise of the heating unit and mildew in the shower. Dinner in the restaurant was decent, breakfast great as well.

The Twelve was very comfortable and had a lot of character which is something we appreciate when traveling abroad! The room was large and well appointed and had a separate loving room area which was nice to have as an option for relaxing. The pizza restaurant attached was a nice addition as there wasn’t much nearby that was open (to be fair, it was the night before Easter Sunday in the off season, but it’s also about 10 minutes outside of Galway, so keep that in mind). The neighborhood was quiet and safe and we would definitely stay again.

Food was ok, but nothing special…coffee was terrible and Americano I ordered after dinner tasted old and like it had been microwaved for 3 min and scalding and burnt, not particularly impressed. Room was nice enough.
