I have kids with me so I wanted to arrange a connected rooms or at least two rooms next to each others I had to contact them twice by email with no response Soi called them twice to confirm I understand sometimes it’s hard to find connected rooms but they assured they have arranged rooms next to each others Unfortunately rooms were far in two end of the hotel separated by the elevators and stairs.. no one has recommendations to restaurant Terrible and not considered 5 stars by all means There was dirt in the room (remaining olives) despite us arriving later than 3 pm!

The hotel had a unique look to it which I liked. The room and bathroom were on the small side. Lacking in amenities. The breakfast was alright, a standard buffet.

A lovely hotel, lots of character in the main areas and bedroom. Hellpful and engaged staff at reception and breakfast. Close to main bus routes and port etc. Thanks for a great stay

The Wagner is a beautifully appointed hotel which is on a very convenient and quiet street with easy walking to many major attractions. The staff was very friendly and responsive. Only negative is the WiFi was somewhat weak. Highly recommend.

Grand Hotel Wagner is a gem in Palermo. Magnificent, historical and well preserved. It is conveniently located on a quiet street near city center. Our room was super clean, marble bathroom, daily service. We absolutely loved staying in this beautifully kept and historic hotel. Many, many thanks to the reception and management team; Alida, Roberto and Wim , for their recommendations and making our stay a wonderful experience. I highly recommend staying at Grand Hotel Wagner.

In a great location the Wagner has all elements of a great hotel: helpful staff, nice decor, comfortable rooms, fabulous breakfast. Such a nice experience in a great city.

Great comfortable stay.

I had some problems in this hotel. First of all, the Wi-Fi was worthless. Whether I was in my room, in the lobby, or in the breakfast room, it was either painfully slow or didn’t work at all. Also, I had paid for cellular service on my phone, and it just didn’t work anywhere within the confines of the hotel. As soon as I stepped outside, it worked. Another in my party had a different cellular service and had the exact same problem. Lastly, I’ve stayed in a dozen cities in Italy including two others in Sicily, and I’ve never had a problem plugging in my universal adapter. Here I did, as my room had nothing but 3 round prong outlets. I have never needed a different adapter in Italy. I do give the staff credit because, even though it took a while, they located an adapter that fit and loaned it to me. The breakfast was good, the staff helpful, but there were too many hassles for me to ever stay here again.

Property was beautiful and perfectly situated in the heart of Palermo. Parking is a nightmare but that's true everywhere in this city. They have valet parking but it takes 20-30 minutes to get your car when u need it.

The staff was incredible, attentive, friendly and accommodating. The first night of our stay, the ceiling was leaking near the washroom due to the air conditioner, the very next morning they moved us to a different room. The following day, my husband, myself and another couple took the train to Cefalu, we enjoyed a fantastic day there (recommend you visit Cefalu as week, very cute town), throughout the day we could smell smoke but not sure exactly what was going on, when it was time to leave we could see forest fires, we headed to catch our train but unknown to us, no trains were leaving Cefalu. We were stuck at the train station for approximately 3 1/2hrs, we called the hotel and they sent a driver for us (we had to pay, however it was well worth our safety), thank you Hotel Grand Wagner for your quick response and our safety, forever grateful. All the staff we encountered were professional and polite.

The staff was very helpful, kind and considerate. They went out of their way to make you feel extremely comfortable and very welcome. Excellent hotel with easy walking distance to sites and tour buses.

The hotel is very well located and the welcome at the reception was very kind. The hotel does not have its own parking garage but a valet / parking service with a Dropbox/pick up service (at your own costs). Rooms were very clean and quiet. In general we had a great stay, but the only thing we missed, was the attention at the breakfast were we needed to go behind the service to place our order for coffee. Also at the bar on the evening before, I was surprised that a rather standard cocktail (Piña Colada) was not possible to prepare and we got a friendly comment to chose another one from the card. Neither is there any possibility to eat something in the bar (only roomservice), not even little snacks were served with the drinks. Still, a good place to stay for a visit of Palermo

Very friendly staff! Average hotel. Certainly not 5 star but good bang for your buck. Asked for an iron to be sent to the room and not even 5 minutes later got a call asking if we were done because another guest needed it.

Excellent location with an old school way of providing comfort to the weary travel. Service was superior and amazing food for breakfast with local Sicilian dishes as well as US favorites such as eggs and bacon.

Beautiful place and a great location

This is a very lovely property. We found the classic room very small for 2 people. The breakfast is a highlight with pleasant service and an excellent selection. We were thankful for the loan of an adaptor from the front desk when the new one we had brought with us from Canada stopped working.

All staff were excellent especially at breakfast and at the bar.
