What a great hotel in a perfect location with exceptional staff!

We stay here once a year for a week. It’s the perfect location for us because we are visiting family in Laguna Woods. We love that the place serves continental breakfast. It’s also very reasonably priced for the area and in a safe location and close enough to beaches and attractions.

A place to lay our heads. Beds are comfortable. Shower is good. Very close to shopping and restaurants.

Clean, comfortable with large rooms. Laundry facilities were excellent to have on a long trip. Didn’t use the pool but it looked decent enough. Very close to numerous grocery stores so we put the in-room fridge and microwave to good use. Entire grounds are smoke free except one small area right outside our window, so that sucked as smoke came into our room. Yuck. Also bizarre in this day and age that non- dairy milk isn’t offered in the breakfast room.

Cute and cozy. I like building A or B with garden view. Stayed in building C too but garden views are the most cozy. Cottage feels!

The air conditioner in our room was very loud and not very effective. The woman who checked us in was not very friendly. It would have gone a long way if she was. Size of the room was great. Pool was also very nice. Continental breakfast excellent.

Spent 2 nights here for a wedding. Quiet. Beautiful landscaping — unmatched among the hundreds of hotels i’ve stayed at. Good cold breakfast, pleasant staff. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

We always stay here when we are attending a concert a few miles from the Lodge. Rather than drive all the way home late at night. Great overnight getaway.

An older property, but it's kept up well. There were a few areas of repairs or cleaning needed in the public areas. Overall, very happy with our stay.

Run down but cozy. Our room wasn’t clean.. there were still trash in there from previous people but the area is great and the place is fine for the price.

We were very surprised at the quality of this place! Great value for your dollars. Close to the major roads, 20 minutes from downtown Laguna and close to convenience stores.
Clean, well supplied and a nice Continental breakfast included.
The grounds are amazing and well tender. We would stay again if in the area.

Checkin went smoothly, the room was clean. The bathroom was modern and clean. The bed was comfortable, and best of all the air conditioner ran like a champ. We like our room cold and it didn’t disappoint.

Booked Lagun Hills Lodge thru hotels.com. Most other hotels were at least $350 - 400 a nite. This was $153 a nite. Was it a RITZ CARLTON, absolutely not, but it was clean safe and close to beaches and Pageants of the Arts, which is why I traveled there in the first place

Lovely simple grounds. Clean room and pleasant staff.
Very near City Hall where newlyweds can be seen celebrating with their families.
The bathroom was clean but needed to be upgraded as there was some rust and the water didn't drain properly from the tub.

Reasonably priced motel - facilities are dated but functional and clean. Nice pool and very adequate self-service breakfast included - cold cereals, bananas, bagels, hard boiled eggs. Convenient parking and location for an event we were attending near Mission Viejo and 20 minute ride to Laguna Beach the next day.

Good evening, I enjoyed my stay for the most part and appreciated the cleanliness of the room which was very important to me. The property is very nice and maintained well.
The only suggestion I have at this time, would be to have a security person walk through the halls of each building during the late hours on Fri & Sat evenings when occupancy is high. Guests are coming in & out at this time. Cameras may not pick up the noise & disturbance that is taking place.
When I arrived to my room on the 3rd Fl; Bldg C;
about 9pm on Sat night, there was arguing and yelling taking place that went on for quite some time. A male guest was standing against the wall like he was locked out. Loud music & laughter started up about 11pm, along with kids running up & down the hallway until about 12am, or so. There was a gathering of young people in & out of the rooms. It was very disturbing! This is the peak summer season, so I understand…..

It’s an older hotel but the renovated it and it’s sooo cute!!! It feels like an upscale hotel. The Continental breakfast was great. We were going to the pageant of the Masters and it was a good 20 minute drive but it was really worth it for the price and the quality of the hotel. The pool was awesome and we felt very safe in the hotel.

Great location for our needs. Breakfast provided was OK. A/C in our room was very loud. Our bathroom appeared to have been remodeled recently and looked great. The front desk staff were nice and helpful.

I’ve stayed here frequently for years. The Lodge provides solid value and I like the convenient parking. But lack of elevators in certain bldgs, outdated everything and inability to get an early check-in makes it average. The noise from the fire station and older AC units makes it especially tough. I appreciate that the manager did her best to accommodate me. I’ll stay here for short periods of time but anything close to a week, it will be elsewhere. Thanks.

This is the second time we stayed. It’s right next to City Hall. The rooms are clean and comfortable, enjoyed our stay as we were at home.

This is a wonderful property, lovely landscaping. The rooms are spacious and clean. Beautiful pictures on the wall, great comfy bed with high end sheets. Cable TV that offers over 200 channels and many are premium, HBO, Startz, MSNBC. The front desk people are friendly and professional.

I felt warmly welcomed, safe and the location was perfect for the arts festival. I also liked the simplicity and eco-friendly charm of the lodge.

Nice pool and continental breakfast. Easy parking. Pretty garden in the courtyard. A little noisy on the first floor. Clean room.

It is my second time staying there and I love its location and the amenities like a jacuzzi and a heated pool. They were always accommodating in my things I may need or my checking in.
