While the staff were very friendly and the property was clean, I wouldn’t rate it highly overall. The property is in need of upgrades, the elevator was unreliable, the room doors appeared to have been pried open and poorly patched, the water pressure was weak, and parking was difficult.

The hotel was in good condition, friendly employees, clean, beautiful pool and yummy breakfast. The only thing I didn't like much, was that it had no longer the same name Americk, it was Comfort Suites. I was driving back and forth looking for Americk hotel.🤔😏

I was very frustrated this stay!!!! I stay here 3-4 times a month while at work and on this special occasion I decided to rent a room that was deemed to have more amenities and a nicer room at a higher price then I normally pay only to get into the room to find half the linens and the bed comforter was from the 70s it was coarse and itchy and was advertised to have Egyptian cotton and a down comforter… was said to have a deep soaking tub didn’t have that nor the kitchen and so on… I pay for a less expensive room on a regular basis and those rooms are a lot nicer then what I paid more for… I brought it to the front desks attention who only stared at me and told me I must have a handicap room and after I informed him I didn’t he just stared at me awkwardly and then said there was nothing he could do… I told him I stay here often and know the manager quite well and still he didn’t try to make any effort to make things right at all… horrible experience on the special occasion… but in the bright side of things the property is clean and safe and the renovations have been amazing since my first stay…

Everything is in the process of remodeling. Swimming pool was closed, no breakfast as the stay mentioned and also no no ice machines. Outside of hotel was heavy equipment and a lot of maintenence needed for yard. Room was nice and bed was comfortable but we also got a broken AC in our room that would periodically make a ton of noise suddenly.

This place states they are undergoing renovation but none is observed. Room smells musty, towels are like sandpaper. They no longer provide breakfast and no coffee or snacks are available. I should get a refund for having stayed here but wont make that mistake again. Also the elevator is scary makes hard stop and jumps. Looks ok from the outside but its not a good place.

This was a terrible stay there was no one at check in only a phone number to call if you needed something. This was seriously laughable even for a 2 star hotel in a small city like Laredo. When I tried to get someone at the lobby the cleaning staff said to come back in one hour to rekey my room. The lack of customer service is real...... Also they don't even have a vending machine to get a drink.

I arrived a round 8 pm and Front desk John informed me that my room was not available, that I had to look for other accommodations, and that I had to contact you yo cancel my stay, I told him it was non refundable according to the hotel policy, I explained to him that I was not canceling that the HOTEL CANCELLATION was being against my will and that he will have to refund me because my room was already paid.
I found a room at La Quinta near the airport my total stay including taxes was $217.74 I’m not happy about this specially because the hotel didn’t bother to call me and let me know, I contacted Hotels.com around 5:30 am and a very nice lady named Karen helped me only to have the hotel not answer her call, she emailed the hotel and is waiting on a response.

The check in was quick and was told thw hotel was under a remodel so its understandable for some things are not in place. The room was good and comfy. We were missing a trash can, wif access but other than that it was ok.

Hotel is recently remodeled, no staff at night after 12 midnight. Leave hotel and parking completely unattended.
Mexican families of hotel maintenance crew are living in hotel, all jumped in swimming pool at 1am. They made so much noise and hoopla, I could not sleep. I yelled to shut up, but they ignored me and continued the dive-bombing and screaming until 3am. I didn't sleep at all, very upset at whole situation.
They were running up and down the halls and soaking the elevator floor in their wet clothes.
Nothing I could do. I went in the hallway and yelled at the older tattooed one, and he said he hadn't been in the pool yet, I told him to tell them to turn it down.
Very confrontational vibe, felt like I might get attacked, as they have no American values to go by.
