It’s a bit of an odd property in terms of its configuration, but a pretty good stay. Loved the access to local shops and facilities.

Convenient to city centre.

Communication with Oaks was difficult, off shore. Bath towel had holes in it. View was not what is in picture and told what I would get. Spa did not work and had tiles and a cap and hat should be on the drain was missing waiting for someone’s foot to get caught. TV’s are cheap and picture crap and the bedroom one was size of a computer screen.

I asked for privacy important to me, and I didn't get that, 107 was so noisy and painful all night. Did not enjoy the stay

Just a quick one night stay passing through. We seemed to get upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom apartment which made the value a little better. Our room backed onto the the train line and it could be loud at times. It's ok, but we would probably try somewhere else in the future.

Okay venue but needs dining options

Good location with excellent parking. Supermarket and resturants in walkable distance. Right next to major train line, and near the hospital, so sirens and teain noises mey bother some. so ask for room on non trainline side. Also West street is cut in half by the trainline, so make sure you enter 1 West street on the Sat nav, as searching by name, you end up at a Sushi resturant .

I had a lovely outlook. The property was quiet and staff helpful and friendly. I would have liked some English breakfast/normal tea in my room.

Modern room with a handy kitchenette and great onsite facilities. Sauna was excellent!

Property was not to the usual Oaks standard. The rooms were dated and cleanliness was low standard. There were no dedicated disability parking areas for guests in the secure parking or parking close to a lift for people with disability. No in house catering was provided or noted in the advertising.

The rooms were fine but had not been cleaned properly, more of a once over lightly. Things had been cleaned around (eg things not moved), tiles cleaned in middle of floor but edges not for a while. Staff were friendly and property is well located.

Great staff and suitable facilities. The air conditioning systems within the rooms are either very old and very noisy or do not work at all.

Great spot to stay in Ipswich

Lovely heated pool and spa. No restaurant on site. Steak restaurant nearby. Cafes and shops, supermarkets, 15 minute walk.

Incredibly overpriced for what you get the photos online don’t align to how the hotel is it needs an upgrade facilities are worn and the building is dated. Free parking is excellent staff are lovely and check-in and check out was an easy process.

Friendly staff. Property was cleaned & well maintained. 2 minute drive from shopping centre. 15 minute walk to river side walk & parkland. Undercover, secure parking, short walk to restaurants.

Would recommend without hesitation

A great week long break based at Oaks Aspire Ipswich, alternating between local area and visiting Scenic Rim. Staff were friendly, room was spacious, facilities were as expected, weather was variable but balcony was large with both an open and covered area. Separate study area was a bonus. Great location near top of town eateries and easy walking distance to Mall & Riverlink.

Very comfortable but book a room on the north side. Terrible noise from trains on the south

Tv not working in lounge . Balcony door lock not working / not safe . Car parking / access very difficult . Ackward levels , including reception - stairs - no lift at reception level !

The TV didn’t work and the trains kept me up half the night. The ammenities were good though.

The Oaks Aspire Ipswich is a good comfortable place to stay.. The one bedroom apartment in which I stayed was elegant with a roomy balcony, a well planned kitchen with a lounge to enjoy.. Located close to all that Ipswich has to offer.

I found that the first park I was allocated was VERY DIFFICULT TO ACCESS. Fortunately, Brittany in reception changed this for a more easily accesses park. However this was occupied by a resident who had two cars. Again. Brittany came to my aid and sorted it out. Third time lucky! Room was clean and comfortable. Position very convenient. I had a lot of trouble using my key to get in. After four trips down to reception and a change of keys, the man on reception, whose name I don’t remember went up to the room with me and showed me how to get in. The trick is to turn the key in the lock,PHYSICALLY hold the key in that position then use the other hand to turn the handle to open the door. I have never had to have two hands free to open a door before. As I am eighty-two, I didn’t find this convenient as I had to deposit everything I was carrying on the floor before going through this process to actually open the door which had to be held open with one hand as the door had a very strong self- closing fitting, before being able to access the room. Other than this, my stay was great.

Nice room but the place stinks of smoke! When you got in lifts you could hardly breath for the strong overpowering smell of smoke. The hallways also stink of smoke.

Room was very out dated Lock was Brocken in bathroom but was fixed Noisy upstairs could not sleep Not sure how this is 4.5 stars Bathroom room needs a bad paint .. Stay in accommodation a lot this Wasent one of the better ones

This far from a 4 start hotel. more like a 2 star The walls in the hallways are so bad with black marks everywhere... The shower was dirty, looked like someone had shot a load on the ceiling in the shower
