Beautiful and quiet place with an amazing staff.

My girlfriend and I stayed for 10 nights and it was a dream. The staff made our stay so wonderful and they were all incredibly helpful. We had the hardest time leaving and would love to visit again.

This resort is hands down the best we have ever been too. From beginning to end the staff are so friendly. Everything is so easy to navigate. The food and service were excellent. You must go to the Mongolian Grill it’s hands down the best restaurant at the resort. We also liked the Dominican Restaurant. We loved the Spa, the ladies who did our massages, manicure and pedicure were both awesome. The spa environment was so relaxing and the coolest place on the resort. We had the best time on our 5 night stay. Only thing is watch out for the people selling on the beach. Especially the foot rub women. Also the only shop near the property that felt honest was the one in the middle and bring cash for souvenirs because card is more expensive. We definitely will be back for longer next time to enjoy the pool and beach.

The hotel was beautiful and the room was amazing but I did have a small leak but it wash fixed right away. The best part was the staff. They were lively, attentive and most importantly very friendly and helpful. My mom loved Nono the best. He was the best part of the experience when we had breakfast. My only comment would be that for the a la carte menu there should be more variety in food.

A lovely quiet adult only resort. We changed rooms 3 times due to lack of control of our ac and it was too hot for our liking. Salvatore, & Juan Carlos were so helpful in getting us to an upgraded swim up corner deluxe room. Only other recommendation would be more fans to cool the lobby lounge/bar area. We’d recommend to others.

The grounds and beach were ok. House keeping didn’t clean well or stock towels back. They knocked/tried to open the door even when it said do not disturb. They enforced policies for some guests and not others. Had to make reservations for everyday as soon as you arrive or you won’t be able to make one. We found this out later. Restaurants were also not full. It seemed like the reservation system was there, so you could only go to one restaurant per night. A lot of the staff were looking to receive tips. Some staff members were amazing. For the most part, the resort is boring. Not many activities. The drinks are very watered down. Room service food is ok 3/10. For a “luxury resort”, it doesn’t seem like it. Also someone called the room trying to solicit sex. It was very concerning. Took that concern to the front desk, but they couldn’t see who called or do anything about it. Seemed like it was an employee running a “side business”. Having a swim up pool room was nice. After 9pm the resort is pretty much dead. Definitely a resort for older couples.

The WiFi and ac went out a few times but other than that my stay at this resort was amazing. The people were very friendly and would always try to engage with you if possible and the lemonade was to die for.

I had an amazing him at the resort. I loved the buffet options and the staff was always friendly and responsive. The facilities - especially the gym which I frequented throughout my stay - were clean and well kept. WiFi throughout the resort was also good despite us not having the high connection plan. I think everything was well managed and truly a great experience. I did see 2 bugs in my room which was after a heavy rainstorm but that’s the only true complaint I have

The staff and food were excellent. However, this is not a property I would call luxury, particularly since guests have to pay for beer other than the Dominican brands. My husband loves Heineken and you have to pay $5.00 per beer. That’s any non-Dominican brand. Mixed drinks were included, but we heard other guests complain about the beer offered and having to pay for other brands.
The facilities were clean, staff was very friendly, but the adult only section is small. They offer swim up pools at at extra cost at your room. We did pat for the service, but if you are not at a room near the main pool, there is no bar maid service.
We have stayed at other Bahias in Jamaica and Mexico, and this so called luxury facility really rates the same as their other properties. I would go back to the Iberostar Grand anytime over this property.

Small Resort, nice and friendly enviroment, with restaurants within a confortable walking distance.
The Resort maintenance was not the same as it has been in the past, dirty roadways, rooms are to be cleaned better, doors maintened and painted over again. The Spa Music on the roadways was not working at all, something that we missed a lot.

To be honest this was the worst trip I’ve ever been on. I am a Navy veteran and I have been all around the world, this was hands down the absolute worst. This trip was for my 50th birthday and I had the worst time. The food was terrible, we had to walk a half a mile to eat bland food. I was told on many occasions "no, no lady" and was escorted out of even the coffee shop. The beaches and water was choked with seaweed. The shopping "trip" was just to a little souvenir shop that sold shot glasses and keychains. I'm so disappointed.

It was obvious that the AC unit was not functioning properly,
We had to change rooms three times until we finally got a decent room. The cleaning standard is not very high and the amenities and rooms lacked of maintenance. Most of the employees who served in the hotel were not very friendly, they didn’t had good manners and they were not very polite. Internet service was very slow and there are many other things I could say about the hotel. This is definitely not a five star resort.

The only downside is there is just 1 pool and the pool water was warm, so it did not cool a person off to escape the heat

Common areas are too hot, air conditioner only works in the room, but restaurants and lobby are extremely hot. Food and service are good. Drinks by the pool are very sweet, however, they have different options.

Everyone was so happy, helpful, accommodating, and truly made the stay worthwhile! It was a beautiful resort. The food was delicious and beyond plentiful. Rooms were nice, updated, and felt like home. It’s worth splurging for the swim up room pool or upgrading to it once you arrive.
The best part was the people though! We had no issues communicating in English and they were so patient when there was any language barrier. Will be back!

The main door handle in my room didn’t work properly and the balcony door lock was also broken.
One of the transportation staff was rude, we felt that he preferred to help other guests instead of us. He made us feel discriminated because we had a senior with us.
