Pros: beautiful architecture of the common areas
Cons: old and smelly rooms, average food (the goal seems to be quantity in spite of quality), chaotic and disorganized staff at the reception, no concern for the environment (eg recycling), narrow and crowded beach.
This might be the right place for you if you’re looking for an expensive place to eat and drink unlimited cheap drinks and cheap food

Everything was great, we enjoyed our honeymoon stay and will definitely be back again. The staff was very nice and the food was good as well.

The reception was terrible, they had many political restrictions with kids ( things you don’t find in Expedia when you book your trip like no kids in many restaurants 😡)

The experience was nice. Only issues were that we had no hot water for a few days, some maintenance upkeep needed, waited for food at the seafood restaurant for 2 hrs! Buffet wasn’t so great, but the reservation restaurants were very good.

The property was great. I like that you had an adults only side. There were plenty of dining options. I think more side vegetables are needed. I do not think vendors who are not affiliated with the hotel should be selling excursions. I know there are signs on the beach, but it would not look good for the hotel. Also, you need to get animal control for the stray cats. Your resort is too impressive to have that going on. Finally, it may seem minor, but a larger ironing board and a better quality iron would be nice. Overall, I had a fantastic time on the resort. There is so much to do including the great shows every night

This was our 5th time here and it always delivers. We knew we would have a perfect 10 day honeymoon and this time even exceeded the 4 previous times we have been. We will continue to visit this resort over any of the other resorts in the Dominican.

Our third stay at this resort. Loved every minute and ready to return. Melvin Rojas took fantastic care of us as he always does and Angel was fantastic getting our boarding passes and rearranging our transportation back to the airport

We had a wonderful stay. Every need was catered too. Our butler Obliss was the best! The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food was ok. The best restaurant was 9Doors, the Japanese restaurant. It was delicious. Resort is not too big and not too small. I will go back. Highly recommend.

We had a blast here. Although out stay was short, we enjoyed every moment of it. S/o to our butler Santiago who was always available when we needed him and a big thanks to all the workers at the restaurants we dinned at who were all so welcoming especially Jonathan King. All the staff including servers, concierge, bartenders, front desk, staff at the club houses especially Daniella was so professional and helpful. Will definitely be back!

It was an excellent experience! The smiles of everyone in this resort make you feel welcomed from our butler Melvin to our housekeeping Lady was Súper excellent,restaurants,Bartenders the nightly shows are fantastic concierges,pool service and Beach server are great our suite was amazing ocean view we did a Santo Domingo tour which it was great the only thing that I would recommend is instead of jazz music played every where they should play Dominican music or Caribbean music God Bless everyone in this resort 👍🙏

Very honest about my response the property is well kept very clean. Housekeeping needs better help they forget to replace towels and shower gels. The floors in the bedroom should be cleaned better (sand on floors) mopping them would be great. Small details are often missed but are just as important. Thank you.

The staff, especially at the bars and restaurants, were outstanding. The beach was phenomenal, and the pool area was great, although the pool and its bar closed earlier than expected at 6 p.m. each day. However, the bartenders and pool staff had the best energy and often allowed us to stay until around 7:20 p.m. Special thanks to Juan, Michael, and Adelio, who were truly 10/10 personalities and wonderful human beings.
A few minor suggestions: the foosball table in the sports club and the billiards table (or at least the cue sticks) could use replacement. Despite these small issues, I would absolutely return to this resort multiple times.

The hotel and staff are excellent. My wife and I had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would mention is that they mostly played Spanish music, and only a few staff members spoke English. I would have preferred to hear more English music. Additionally, some of the furniture by the beach is old and needs replacing.
Overall, the hotel has a great vibe, and as I mentioned earlier, the staff is very kind.

The Majestic Elegance proved to be an exceptional experience for my wife and I as part of her 50th birthday celebrations. The culture of service and hospitality was tremendous and second to none. Love this resort. Went with my boyfriend and this was our third time at the Majestic. We’ve stayed at the Mirage and elegance twice. I love the Elegance. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Our butler Guzman stayed in communication with us and made sure everything was okay throughout our stay. Roberto in the main bar downstairs from the lobby was also the best. We also enjoyed all of the entertainment.

I enjoyed the steakhouse restaurant, the bars, and the disco, and I found the staff to be excellent. However, I was disappointed with the pool, as it wasn't very clean. The room was spacious and beautiful, but I had issues with a leak from the sink ceiling area during the last two days of my stay. Overall, the rest of the experience was good.
