Really beautiful and clean . I definitely stay in Casa Valeria for my next trip

It's a nice place with a personal feel to it. Meaning that the staff make you feel as if you are staying with them, and not so much a mechanical product like you get at bigger chains/franchises. The rooms are very well kept, clean, and the staff do care about making sure proper maintenance is done. Ensuring that the place isn't falling apart. There's no mosquito control so be prepared for that. You do get breakfast included in your stay. There's an onsite bar for lunch and dinner. Also near by restaurants that you can walk to. It's not dangerous like walking through Chicago or NYC, but also nowhere near as safe as walking through a European city. Regardless, do not go out at night. It's obvious the staff have dealt with some not so great abusive guests in the past. There are procedures and policies in place as a result of that. This is highly evident during checkout, where you are taken to the room for an inspection of it's condition, etc. They are just being proactive and protecting themselves, but it does come across a little intimidating. I wouldn't recommend this as a family place. The surrounding area is sketchy, the type of guests that stay here are not kid friendly, and you can smell, see, hear certain habits that correspond to the type of guests that would normally stay here. If you are looking for something simple and easy, then is is a good place.

There is a lack of privacy in the facility, people from outside that are not staying at the hotel keep entering the facility as a companion of other custumers.

I had an amazing time here , stood for only 3 days but enjoyed it , staff was nice , place was clean , every thing works properly.

Best hotel in downtown sosua

I didn’t like the treatment I received from one of the staff members her made self unwelcome when every I was around her and stay for 5 days, my flight got cancelled so I went back to Casa Valeria and she grossly overcharged me for my extra stay, I contacted the management and they said they would refund me but they never did, I was overcharged 316.62

Cute hotel with very nice staff. However, did not like the location. They don't have parking so you have to park on the street and the streets did not seem safe. I was terrified we would not find the rental in one piece although they told us they had cameras surrounding the hotel. Our shower did not work and water took forever to drain. Hopefully they'll get it fixed before the next guest that stays in that room. They made a light attempt to fix it because the maintenance guy was not on duty. Finally, the security guy offered my husband to give us another room, which we appreciated but by then i was already in bed so we passed. Finally, if you're a light sleeper like me, don't stay there. You won't get much sleep. If you're single or like to party then not bad. I did love the fact that it is walking distance to the beach and many restaurant options nearby. Overall 3 out 5.

Casa Valeria is a nice place in Sosua. Wonderful home base to explore the surrounding areas. Sosua is a lovely and sometimes lively place. Enjoy the friendly staff and attentive operators. Will definitely stay here again if coming to Sosua.

We absolutely loved our stay at casa valeria. The staff made us feel so welcome, like family from the beginning. The location of this hotel is unbeatable. A 2 minute walk to a quiet beach and many restaurants around as well.

This hotel is small but mighty. The rooms are spacious great shower with hot water comfortable bed and pillows. The best part is the staff Elizabeth and Leonela are amazing. They took great care of me! Also Jenny in housekeeping is an excellent cleaner. I would return to this warm and homey place. Walk to beaches and food no problems

Very comfortable and modern appliances and spaces. The staff is attentive and helpful and did a great job receiving us upon arrival. I will definately stay here again for a longer time.

The staff was excellent, breakfast was good, great location, my only problem was the tv didn’t work 2 of the 3 nights I was there. The staff tried to repair it, but to no avail. The overall experience was nice.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Quite a few spoke English which is great cuz my Spanish is awful. Walking distance to 2 beaches and all the restaurants on pedro clisante. Great place. My only complaint is my room needs a new shower head. Other than that, excellent

Loved our stay at Casa Valeria! Excellent location, a very short walk from the Metro Bus stop and a few minutes walk to Playa Alicia. Also surrounded by plenty of restaurants and markets. The room was very clean, housekeeping came daily to make the bed, wash the floors, take out the trash, and new toiletries. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Staff was very kind and helpful. WiFi was speedy. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting the area!

How great the staff was to everyone.

Property is one of the nicer hotels in sosua. Very quiet and peaceful. Restaurant is good and the rooms have a minibar which charges reasonable prices. My only real complaint would be the WiFi didn’t work. I even went to the front desk and they couldn’t get it to work either. But it wasn’t a big deal really. Overall I would totally recommend

My stay at Casa Valeria was superb. The property was immaculate at all times. The staff were truly amazing - the entire staff. This includes front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and restaurant. The quality of the food in the on-site restaurant was consistently excellent. I would definitely stay again at Casa Valeria.
