The bathroom sink area way too small...needed a larger vanity area. I was on the bottom floor and very noisy above me and outside the room.

Great laid back atmosphere. Slept to sound of waves plus a little traffic.

being on ground floor next to pool allowed TOO MUCH LIGHT into my room at night, even with curtains. they were old and not very moveable.

It was just one night but it was a rough night maybe I just didn't have luck but the phone didn't work and I felt like the people above us played music all night making it extremely difficult to get my kids to sleep. I never usually complain or leave bad reviews but it was just rough.

When we booked our hotel a few months in advanced we had indicated that we wanted a balcony with beach view above the first floor. When we first arrived, the staff was not as friendly as we expected and told us our room was 102 which is literally on the first floor. My husband asked if we could get something in the second or third floor and the guy said that they only booked on the first floor because the top 2 floors are timeshares. That is not disclosed anywhere on their site. We spent quite a bit of money to stay here only to be disappointed in the room that we got. The rooms are outdated, no Keurig, they have a Mr. Coffee. Cleaning ladies were really nice and the view was great. Aside from that, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Take your money elsewhere where you actually get what you paid for.

Easy check in and out great walkable beautiful area. Amenities like TV are a little outdated but not an issue for me.

This is a nice beachfront property just south of the Carlsbad CA city center. It is on a cliff overlooking the water. Cliff is about 75 ft high. The hotel is on a very busy noisy street. For most traffic the noise is not terrible, but very loud motorcycles, high performance cars, loud music is pretty constant during the day and into the evening. This is a nice hotel but in my opinion not a luxury one. It is close walking distance from many restaurants and shops in downtown Carlsbad. There is parking here under the hotel that is secure. If you have a large vehicle like a Suburban or larger truck it will be tight parking. We had an Acura MDX and even with it you have to be careful when you park. A Tesla model Y would fit nicely. To me this hotel was expensive for what you got.

The location was excellent! Once we parked, we didn’t get back into town ur car til departure time! Everything was walking distance. The in-site restaurant was excellent!

This is not a Resort its a Basic hotel This place does not have rooms available on the 3rd floor its only for Timesharers This place has a small swimming pool 5ft deep & 2 jacuzzi This room had a small tv mounted This room only had a view of the pool The breakfast was waffles & bacon The pool table is nice The gym is small The wifi is weak here The parking is underground & always full The beach is across the street Theres a train that blares by but you can hear it I dont recommend this place it feels like a 60 motel

I was a bit skeptical based off of the reviews yet was very pleased with my stay. It was me and my four year old and the easy parking and access to beach made it worth it. They provided plenty of towels, the pool was clean and everybody was nice.

I arrived to find out that my room was on the first floor, which means I had a view of the street traffic and heard it through my stay. I requested another room and found out that the second and third floors were time-shares. I was supposed to have handicap access, but received none. The garage level is dark like a cave. I was overall disapointed considering I paid $825.00.

Great location and clean but it is an older property so a bit outdated in areas. Loud as noise really carries. . You can hear every everything, people talking, doors slamming, kids yelling. Great for families with young kids!

The room was dirty and smelled like stale mold, the website said they had roller beds if needed- they didn’t. The room claimed to sleep 3, there was no cot, sofa bed or second bed. Just the one king. Awful awful awful!

This was the best family beach stay we’ve done. 2 grade school kids and a baby. We were comfortable and accessed the beach so easily. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. The rec room ping pong and pool tables were actually usable. The pool and hot tub were great!
