It was great being across the road from the beach. The room was very small & you wouldn't want to stay in it for more than I1 night. There was no heating.

The unit needed a small amount of maintenance. One bedside lamp globe was blown and the bathroom vanity taps leaked slightly. The unit itself was clean, tidy and well presented with cutlery and crockery, kettle, toaster and microwave. It had all I needed to enjoy my stay.

I did not enjoy waking up to find bugs crawling in my bed. I have NEVER experienced that before. That did not offer any compensation when I told and sent them a video of the creature crawling on the sheets.

This an older style 80s brick veneer hotel in Nelson Bay. It is well located to the main waterfront area and eateries, approximately a10-15 minute walk away.
Check in was very easy with a friendly text message greeting from Wayne including an access code and room number sent after I booked online. Parking was onsite in front of the room.
It was a cool evening in Nelson Bay and heating was required, the reverse air con worked well and warmed up the room quickly, we had a pleasant surprise visit from a young gentleman from the hotel providing a lovely thick extra blanket for the bed.
Overall for the price it was quite satisfactory for an over night stay.

The first night of our stay, my fellow is clean but very smelly, sweat smells so I had changed it the following night and it was good so check your pillows before office close.

A relaxing and enjoyable three days. Wayne and Kim could not have been more helpful in making our stay so enjoyable. The whole complex was clean and tidy. Great value for money.

I really enjoyed my stay, the room very clean, staff very friendly and was in walking distance to shops and marina, I would definitely stay there again

The location was by far the best factor for this accomodation. However the motel needs an upgrade considering the price you pay. And little things like refilling the toiletries such as body wash etc

Booked 2 rooms. No iron or ironing board in either room. One of the rooms had a very bad odour- possible stale cigarette smoke.

Value for money I guess but very dated. Bed was uncomfortable and shower below average, shower head held together with duck tape. Missing handles on drawers. Wouldn’t stay there again.

A fairly comfortable one night stay and a good location minutes walk to the marina. The room was comfortable yet bathroom in need of attention (ie. broken floor tiles, grime/dust noticeable on bathroom surfaces and none of the dispensing bath wash, conditioner or shampoo had anything in them. Bed was comfortable and air con was great 👍

Good position and was clean and tidy. L2 guttering needs cleaning out as was cascading into quadrangle car area. A bit dated. In bathroom shower taps need replacement and shower head as well. Bed was really nice. Over all very pleasant. Thanks

Centrally located in Nelson Bay. Enjoyed the pool. Air con has been improved since last visit and was great to come home to cool room !!

This property could benefit from some renovations. Our fridge was very old and broken, and the bathroom was old and the out of stock of conditioner and moisturiser. The wifi also had a weak signal a lot of the time.
