The location of the property is perfect. Parking was available. The property is old, furniture old, breakfast buffet is mediocre and the staff does what they need to do and never smile. This is true thruout Italy.

Hotel room served its purpose! Nothing over the top but a clean place to stay while visiting Orvieto.
We did have a barking dog outside our room that was quite loud in the morning and later in the evening but that was the only issue we ran into. The staff were very polite and helpful during our stay!

Very good location in the centro storico.
Good covered paid (12euro a day) very close to the hotel.
Orvieto is amazing.
Do not take room #24 -- it has no windows, the AC does not cool it down, and it has a lot of noise, the big AC for whole hotel is just adjacent to it.
Other rooms are probably much better.
The staff should not have put us into this room, as other rooms were available, and this room did not look like the photos on Expedia at all.

Property was great, A/C didn’t work.

We stayed at Hotel Corso for 3 nights. The first night we were put in room 23 which faces the outdoor area. It was full of loud students using it as a social hub - till after 11.00 pm. Someone from the hotel eventually came up and told them to leave, but ruined our sleep. In the morning we asked to be moved, which happened without any problems. We slept well the next two nights. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great and the location was fantastic. Good value to stay nearly the historic centre.

Greit sted å bo når en besøker Orvieto. Mye bråk utenfor hotellet. I tillegg virket ikke aircondition. God plassering.

A lovely and friendly property for everyone to enjoy. A perfect location near many sites and restaurants. We hope to return soon!

Only small shower but a bit wet floor in the bathroom. The hotel location is so nice between the station and the domo. There are a lot of pizzerias and restaurants in the town.

Highly recommended, met our needs perfectly

Very helpful staff. Walked me to my car. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Taking in Orvieto after a 12-day cruise was a sort of detox before returning home. The town turned out to be a total delight, with a surprisingly grand cathedral, wonderful wines and a chance to explore the Etruscan culture. The hotel was charming and convenient for our non-guided walking tours. Staff at Hotel Corso does not really speak English, but they are very willing to help make arrangements. We never found good food in Orvieto, but perhaps the locals are keeping it for themselves. Loved the 2nd floor patio for unhosted Happy Hour!

Nice hotel with super quiet AC convenient for everything in Orvieto

Great older hotel. Very nice staff, breakfast and room. It is an older hotel but well maintained. Location is about mid-way between the fumiculare and the duomo so walking from the train with luggage was not a big problem.

Very basic hotel, but amazing location in the centre. Staff was friendly, even they don't speak much English. Decent breakfast. Nearby parking costs only 1€/day

We stayed in the annex, in a nice big room in February.

NO wifi access in the room (ok at the lobby though) The breakfast should have been included in our plan but they say no.
The location was good for stay but I wouldn’t choose this place for next trip.

Hotel Corso is located on the main street in easy walking distance from the funicular from the train station. Room 6 was small but comfortable. Staff were very accommodating. Would stay there again. Loved Orvieto.

The bathroom needs TLC and cleaning inside the accordion shower doors. The bed, pillows, noisy air con, and difficult to close window covering were not conducive for sleep in this lovely peaceful town.

Beautiful city. Beautiful old exterior building. The rooms were dated but not old old, more 90s dated. Staff was friendly but limited English. Parking was not close but understandable.

It is in a great location right near the tram the brings you up to the city

Our initial room was overwhelmingly smoky smelling. We were switched to another room upon our request. The second room was great. The front counter staff were helpful with directions and pleasant. Breakfast was very good.

The property was basic the staff were helpful only if you asked. The breakfast was good. The room had a dusty smell, which wasn’t pleasant. All in all it’s an average place to stay it’s tired.

Orvieto is a wonderful small, town, highly recommend a visit! Love the streets, church, caves, shopping, wine, cheese....ALL! The hotel reception gentleman was EXCELLENT! Ran to check on our room when we arrived and then quickly checked us in. The room was nice, a bit on the small size. The shower was EXTREMELY SMALL and so was the TV. Although breakfast was included in room rate, we did not have a coffee pot in our room. We like a cup of coffee first thing. When I went down to the breakfast area, the gal did not know what I wanted. However, when the nice man was on duty, things were perfect! Also, the air conditioning control was handled by the hotel, so we couldn't adjust to our liking.....but for the money, location, cleanliness.....all good!

Good breakfast, nice room, close enough to the sites.

Great value, location is good as well. Was concerned about parking our rental car but there was a public paid parking lot just steps away that only cost us 12 Euros overnight. The shared terrace on our floor was really nice option as well for peering at the street below. Breakfast was satisfying.

Room 21 is just too small, i cant even put my luggage in full open bec no more space. Also for a city whose main source of income is tourism, the owners refuses to speak in english. So how can they communicate to their international guests?

The hotel was charming. The staff friendly. Traditional but modernised for comfort. The location was perfect.

Nice and quiet place. Everything was good except the mattress of the bed which seemed a little bit worn out. Service good. Thx Carla!

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Absolutely loved Orvieto! It was a beautiful city to walk around and see the quaint Italian streets and grand Basillica. The hotel corso was a cute place to stay, and the breakfast was great! My only complaints would be that the bed was too firm, and the air conditioning wasn't very cold.

We are Rick Steves fans and appreciate his hotel recommendations. Hotel Corso met our needs but could use a freshen up. Upgraded bed linens would be my first suggestion. Breakfast was minimal however cappuccinos were ample. The location is great...a little farther down the hill from the Duomo but an easy walk. Well priced. We appreciate the upgrade to a Triple room providing ample room for our belongings.
