Good location. Simple, clean rooms. Staff welcoming. Pedestrian but serviceable bathroom. Didn’t eat breakfast- much cheaper elsewhere. Fab bakery Boulangerie Mathieu a couple block’s away was our morning fave! Try the Bleu Canard for dinner across street!

Great location and fairly easy to find, it is within a few minutes walk to the Opera de Lille and the Grand Place. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out was straightforward. The decor was impressive in the foyer, and the room decor was decent. All of the facilties were in working order and easy to use. Plug adapters were available. The room temperature was comfortable, as was the bed. It was wonderfully quiet except for when staff were walking down the corridor but this was only briefly. I did notice it could have been cleaner in the bed, and the carpet seemed to have dog hairs.

This was a great short-term stay at a great price and easy access to the Tube. Staff was friendly, room was clean.

Very pleasant hotel. Clean with nice atmosphere. Breakfast is typically French or à la carte. Don't expect a big meal. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Definitely a place for those who prefer old-fashioned charm, but not tacky at all. Unfortunately the lift was broken when we were there, and we couldnt find any heating or a/c controls, but the room was very comfy. Decent breakfast, friendly staff. We did enjoy it overall.

Sadly, this hotel didn't quite live up to expectations, because of poor attention to detail. The curtains were too small for the window, so light came through. And the shower gel was completely empty. Also, a plate had been left on the desk, which was very odd and made me wonder how thoroughly it had been cleaned and prepared.

Enjoyed the very personal yet professional crew. Rooms were comfy. We were within walking distance of most everything!

Quiet, comfortable and characterful hotel in an excellent location for exploring Lille by foot. Walkable from Eurostar and Gare Lille.

We stayed 4 nights at this small friendly hotel right behind the grand place. It has 36 rooms ours was very clean and comfortable. Thete was always a friendly welcome from the reception staff we did not have breakfast at the hotel prefering to eat out but did use the small bar which was comfortable.we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as we lobed our stay

Nice hotel great location ,clean indeed, the lovely girl at the reception is very helpful and polite ,but the only issue wasn’t good i asked for a bottle of water around midnight but the guy couldn’t bring it up to my room i had to go down to the receptionist and get it that was awful

Well located and clean. No A/C makes it difficult to sleep at night though... Wifi connection is extremely slow.

It was close to the station, close to the centre. The atmosphere was old glory freshly repainted.

Excellent location near to the Christmas market etc. Only problem was no mirror other than in the bathroom. We had a very nice stay and would recommend this hotel.

The property gives you the feeling you are back in the 20’s it is very unique . Totally recommend

Just one night passing through to visit friends we booked last minute, wanting a clean, well priced, quiet and comfortable hotel. We were not disappointed at all. The hotel was ideal. We even managed to park in the same street, paying a meter. That, I think, was lucky.The room was up a couple of flights of stairs which could be tough if youre physically challenged as I dont think theres a lift. Decor is very art nouveau, well known reproduction paintings by Renoir, Lautrec, Klimt, Van Gogh etc are all over the place which has a very warm red feel from carpets and wall panels. This wasvall tasteful and well preserved.The room was excellent, with a good shower and excellent queen sized bed. We had a great sleep.Only slight criticism was the limited breakfast, tea or coffee, croisant and bread, butter and jam. There was fruit at least which we consider essential. Staff were friendly enough, and mostly spoke to us in French, although they did speak English.

You get what you pay for here. Good location. Comfortable. Nice helpful staff. Was like a Wes Anderson movie set.
