The rooms are small than what they appear online pay attention to the square footage.. They charge 250 pesos for each person for day passes to the pool, if you had anyone come that isn’t on your reservation.. The service was good but it is an older hotel and needs some updates.

The property is convenient for me. It was a little unsettling when staff was rude. I requested ice at 9:30pm and was told there was none as the restaurant was closed. The menu said it closed at 10.

We didn’t like that we where with out water for a an hours. The pool wasn’t available until the end of the stay. Over all it was pleasant and the room was cold how we like it. Area was beautiful

The staff was friendly, and the room was nice enough. Upon checking in, I asked where the pool was located because I really wanted to cool off, but they told me the swimming pool was out-of-service. I feel this should have been communicated pre-booking, and if that wasn't possible, a discount offered at check-in. This is a pretty major issue in the Mazatlan heat, and since they use a beautiful photo of their pool as the main hotel image on Hotels.com.

Coral Island is an older hotel that needs some TLC that is located right on the Malecon - terrific location. Staff are very accommodating and breakfast is excellent and very convenient.

I was invited to this property and the rooms are clean. The service was good. They have the restaurant adjacent to the hotel and the food was very good.

4th visit here. It is our Pit Stop on our way down and back to Rincon de Guayabitos.
Dog Friendly. Beach across the street. I had an issue in December here as they did not have my reservation even thought it was paid in advance thru Expedia with Cc Not happy but the professionalism of Maria certainly made the difference of coming back here. Maria checked us in again on our return trip 3/11. She assisted us with several request. As long as she is here we will continue to return.

Only one staff member was checking in over 20 people and she kept taking people out of line. It took 45 minutes to check in. The pool was closed, the restaurant was closed. I would not stay there again.

Property staff very unprofessional and the lady at front desk very rude. It seems like she’s in a hurry and you’re supposed to read her mind.

This is our second time staying at Coral Island Hotel. We chose to stay there this time brcause of our previous experience with them. I was surprised to find out the restaurant only offers breakfast and not dinner anymore, which changed our plan a bit but we were able to walk the Malecon and find something to eat. My one and only disappointment was fiding roaches in our room. I am allergic to them and this was a major disappointment when we found a few in the bathroom and two more in the room.

The room was not clean at all. The floors were dirty, the bathroom had hair all over it. The shower didn't have hot water and the drain was clogged. Bed was not comfortable at all. Room was super basic.

The check-in took an hour even though we paid in advance through Expedia which made us miss the sunset. The phone in our room didn’t work (the cable was cut) so I had to come back to the reception to ask for the wifi password. But there is no password!! So not very safe to use. Also had to come back to the reception to ask for a parking pass even though we asked for one earlier. There was a lethargic raccoon next to the reception. The elevators were halfway working.

Last time I stayed here was in 2013, it was decent. This time it overall it was just bad and will not stay again, beds were awful and not comfortable at all and blankets are cheap. Customer service is bad, the lady that checked me in was rude. Also went in for their breakfast buffet at the hotels restaurant and it did

Check in was easy. Pet friendly service was easy. They gave us a room with a slightly bigger entry because we had pets. It was a little difficult seeing the entrance to go down to parking garage but other than that everything was a breeze. Nice clean good size rooms. Beds were ok.

I would definitely come here again. The staff was nice . It was pet friendly, everything was close by and the pool arrive was good .

Hotel was in a great area to walk the malecon and go to nearby convience stores.
It also is close to the aquarium and baseball stadium.
Everything we wanted to do was a $5 uber ride away.

Nice, clean hotel, next to the beach. The included breakfast was ok, not great but ok. Staff at the restaurant could be friendlier.
