This is a classic bed and breakfast, good food, great hosts, comfortable bed, good location (for me), free car parking available, nice little touches (fresh milk for your tea & coffee in room). When in the area I will be back!

My partner and Ibloved staying here! The Old Guest House is such a sweet property and the interiors are all really nicely decorated and neatly finished. We were so chuffed that a standing fan was included in the room, and equally impressed with how quiet it was - essential during the Summer. The hosts are super helpful and supply a handy guide upon arrival. Its important to note that, they are also on-hand to help with queries before your visit too. To add to this, you can tell that the businesses in Halnaker really support each other and the small village definitely has that community feel! Overall, we'd both happily stay here again, and highly recommend the tasty breakfasts and cosy beds!!

We had a great stay! Quiet and clean. Breakfast was great. The entire property was tastefully decorated and atmosphere was superb. Plenty of parking for the amount of guests. Easy check-in. The only recommendation would be to ensure heating is on when the temperature outside is at single degrees... Did not have our heating on the second evening as we came back, so we were shivering for a few hours before the heating went on. Would have also preferred a quieter stay, though this is a little out of everyone's hands. Walls and floors are thin, we could hear every stomp through the night which kept us awake.

I had a lovely stay, the room was very comfortable spotless and spacious. Great added comforts such as fresh hot cross buns available. Very accommodating people!

This guest house is superb. Perfect for Goodwood Races and surrounding area. Comfortable, clean and modern. Hosts very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble from restaurant recommendations to nearby country walks. Excellent stay and would definately recommend.

Absolutely lovely place to stay, Matt and Amy are delightful, everything about our stay was perfect. All the breakfast options excellent, rooms spacious and really good size bathrooms with large showers and excellent water pressure so great showers all the time! There were small bottles of milk in the fridge in the breakfast room so you had fresh milk for your drinks in the room. Matt and Amy left out fruit all day and sliced cake in the afternoon such a lovely touch. There is nothing negative to say about our stay at all. I won`t even be trying to stay anywhere else when in the area. Thank you to the both of them.

Old Store Guesthouse is just a perfect family-run guesthouse. Personal friendly service without being intrusive. Lots of lovely generous touches. (Good free teas, proper coffee, fruit). Nice smelling diffusers, Wonderful shower. Fabulous breakfast choices. Nice decor. Good quality without unnecessary extravagance. V good value.

We were made to feel immediately welcome with cake and tea after we were reassured about covid precautions in place. The room was nice. Very clean. The bed was comfortable. Shower good. We only had an overnight stay but we liked everything about this residence. The owners were welcoming and provided us with a tray of tea and cake upon arrival. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast had a varied choice and we were sad we could not stay longer. Will visit again and would recommend it.

Perfect location if you're going to Goodwood and don't want to pay their prices. Could not fault our stay and the owners are extremely helpful and efficient.
