Great location, the bar and restaurant is very good!

Great hotel in great area. Loved the pastry shop so much! Rooms were a little warm, but that's Italy in August.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful visit with family in Avellino at Viva Hotel. Everything was perfect! Great Rooms, professional and friendly staff, dining options, housekeeping, accessibility, affordable and easy parking. It was great, and we would definitely stay there again!

Came to visit family nearby. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were spotless. To add icing to the cake (literally) there is a PHENOMENAL bakery attached to the building downstairs.

One night stop. Lovely friendly receptionist. Would like to have more time to explore the town/ city.

It's a lovely hotel, very clean and the staff are friendly. The food in the restaurant was nice and I enjoyed my meal I felt like i mattered. The room was well equipped, had a mini bar, although one thing laking was information on whether there was room service, what time the restaurant was open, taxi numbers and so on, which I think is essential.

Good place to stay as a base. You have all you need within the hotel for breakfast lunch or dinner options with a restaurant and cafe. The finish of any work carried out to update the hotel could have been done to a better standard. The layout of walk in wardrobe made no sense with the mini fridge and safe inside it, and the way the door is placed made it difficult to get in and out.

I particularly like the location of the property. It provides easy access to buses, shopping, and attractions.

This hotel should be rated a solid four star. The cleanliness and very supportive staff. The breakfast staff above and beyond to make the start of your day very easy. The reason for three star is the parking situation. One morning after coming back to the hotel was told that there was no room in garage or parking lot and instructed to park on street at the blue line location. Two things that irked me. One, if it was free parking why there was no room for my vehicle? Two, why wasn't told that if the meter wasn't paid by 8AM , I would get a ticket. If the breakfast staff didn't tell me there would have been a ticket on the vehicle. In the morning spoke to manager and was advised it was a first come first serve on parking spaces and apologized for the possible ticket.

Practical

This hotel has no bellboy and bringing your own bags up is very complicated. To use ramps you have to go through a bakery on the main floor because the hotel lobby is not on the ground floor. Take a long corridor. Then you need to change elevators one floor up and the second elevator is tiny so it wont fit the trolley. Bad experience since we were 4 people traveling for a month we had a few bags and had to make separate trips. They gave us 2 very ugly and dated rooms with 3 single beds but we were 2 couples so queen or king size beds would have been nice. (See picture) Drawers were dirty with what seemed to be mouse droppings (see picture) They sell the hotel as free parking included but if they run out of the only 5 spaces which obviously is the case youre stuck having to find your own parking on the street. Only good thing about the hotel is the location as its just a short walk from the main piazza and promenade.

The hotel staff very frienly, helpful. Some small items in room needed repair.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast included was very good. It was convenient to have the nice restaurant downstairs. The bakery on the first floor has very tasty pastries.

The hotel was OK. It is close to many restaurants and easy access to other parts of Avellino. I will stay there again the next time I visit Avellino.

A clean hotel if you are staying in Avellino. And at a very good price. Beware: if you are coming in from the train station, there are no taxis in Avellino, and it's 2 miles away from the hotel! Otherwise just fine.
