Great hotel perfect location almost 500 years of history in that building and everything kept up like it new. We loved it so much that we decided to stay another 3 days ‼️‼️

The room was super nice and clean. The beds were a bit hard but comfortable. The hotel provided a mini fridge with snacks. Would definitely recommend staying here. Hotel is located in a great area everything is at a walk distance.

Wow ! This hotel is AMAZING! The location ! The view ! It was incredible! Enjoyed every minute of our quick trip ! But looking out of our room and seeing the cathedral was breathtaking!

This property is right in front of the cathedral and its a great place to stay if you want to be down town historic district of Morelia.
Rooms are beautiful and the hotel is beautiful, lots of things to do around the property and great Mexican dinning.

Had a wonderful stay at Cantera. We stayed at the suite with the master suite terrace. Totally worth it. Felt safe and the staff was helpful. Absolutely recommended. It also accessible to the center of Morelia.

My Wife and I had a very nice stay. The staff took good care of us. We enjoyed Dinner on the Rooftop area and observed the Beautiful Fireworks Display at the Historic Cathedral across from the Hotel.

It was an amazing experience, the room had the best view in downtown...It was owesome to see so good the fireworks!!! The food and service, was first level, the amenities in the room so thougtful, and the best was the human quality of their staff

This is a great, historic hotel with 5 star service, exceptional location and beautiful decor. In the US, this would easily e 3-4 times the price. Right in the center of Morelia’s historic center, but amazingly quiet. A fabulous visit!

The Hotel was amazing! Clean, friendly! We stayed at Cantera Hotel for 7 nights, great service, food was good, staff were amazing, especially Hugo, Victor, and Gabby, amazing people. We will definitely be staying here from now on when we visit Morelia. We stayed in the master suite.

Simply excellent. I’ve stayed here before, the decor and interesting features make this spot a standout! Luis was super helpful as was all of the reception staff and housekeeping. They really bent over backwards to help and offer suggestions. The restaurant serves great food and major points of interest are within walking distance. The rooftop garden is great. The staff is hardworking and aim to make sure you have a great stay. Great experience!

A really wonderful hotel in the best location on the main square! Super friendly and accommodating staff, specifically Faucitini, Fernando, and Armando but front desk, maids, bell boys were are exceptional. Complimentary breakfast was super, use of bikes was wonderful fior the Sunday morning closure of Main Street fir biking and walking etc. we loved this hotel and our master suites!

We were upgraded to their “best suite” which was stunning. However, I wasn’t a fan of having the all-glass shower/tub in the bedroom, but I really disliked having 2 steps to get up into the room and 2 steps to get up to the toilet room. In fact, there were small steps (floor variations in height) all over; there was one at our room’s front door. This might be a concern for some guests.

I could not be more impressed with this hotel . A true gem. If you plan on staying in Morelia you need to stay here. The staff was fantastic and everyone was there to help. The rooms are really cool and the location could not be better.
