Perfection! Private, classy, exceptional staff and location; I could go on and on. This hotel is located in the perfect spot for the best sunset view in santorini; highest point on the caldera but only 15/20 min walk down to the bars and clubs. We took a taxi home each night for 15 Euros. Thank you Bessy and all the staff who made our vacation one to remember.

The Avaton was fantastic. It is kind of at the end of the “tourist” areas before you get to Oia which makes it nice and quiet compared to Fira or Firostefani. The honeymoon suite, room 1, had the best views out of all the rooms. The pool deck is shared but incredibly beautiful. We did not find better views throughout our travels in Santorini. Bessy and Zoe at the front desk are so helpful and are constantly checking on you to ensure you are attended to. They provide wonderful recommendations and will book you whatever you need. If you follow their advice, you will have a great time in Santorini. We absolutely loved the Avaton and would be back in an instant!

We were picked up at the airport and taken care of until we reached the beautiful hotel on the edge of the famous Santorini caldera. The view is just breathtaking. All hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rarely have we been able to enjoy such hospitality anywhere else. It's really an outstanding service provided by the Avaton Resort staff. We had a room on the upper floor called "deluxe room" (totally worth the premium!). It is equipped with a private balcony which is overlooking the pool and the caldera. Every morning a friendly staff member brought us the complimentary breakfast to our balcony, which we ordered the evening before. Having breakfast in such an intimate atmosphere is a fantastic way to start the day. The hotel convinced us in all aspects: infinity pool (wow!), restaurant (delicious & fast!), cleanliness & equipment of the room (perfect!). The best thing was the staff, who really cared for the guests with an above-and-beyond service mentality. Thank you very much for this unforgettable experience despite the COVID-19 situation, you guys are incredible!

The Avaton Resort was perfect for our three night stay in Santorini. From the moment we checked in until check-out, the service was impeccable. We had dinner the first night we checked in, and it was as if we had our own private little restaurant. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, shower pleasant and the view walking out your door to the pool overlooking the caldera was breathtaking. You have your own personal spot to watch the sunset each night! We thoroughly enjoyed the personalized breakfast delivered to our patio each morning, so we could dine overlooking the water. I discovered my new love for espresso fredo. Imerovigli is certainly more on the quiet side - so if you are looking to be more in the mix of things, then I'd say you're better off in Fira or Oia. There are plenty of restaurants nearby that are some of the best on the island. We took a catamaran cruise one day and a wine tour the next, and the pickup spot was a 5 minute walk away and very convenient. Transportation is hard to come by on the island, but the resort is more than glad to make arrangements for car service. We did walk back from Fira one night, which took about 35 minutes. There is a walkway right behind the resort that leads to Fira and Oia in respective directions. We could not have asked for a better stay.

Everything is perfect about this hotel! We had a free upgrade to a bigger suite with perfect sunset view. Staff are friendly and helpful! Hotel room, breakfast, hotel amenities and location are excellent! Totally worth the money!!!

Fantastic staff, incredibly attentive to every need! Loved the location, quiet but halfway between the south and north ends of the island. Not crowded like Oia, but beautiful views!

Our stay at Avaton was awesome. Such a great way to end our honeymoon trip to Greece! The location is awesome, with an amazing view, and spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast outside on the terrace every morning was a very nice touch.

Amazing experience. The view is fantastic, much more luxurious than anything in Fira. About a 40 min walk to Fira and 2 1/2 hour hike to Oia. Bring running shoes! You can also take bus or taxi. The staff at Avaton made the resort. Everyone is there to make sure your stay is perfect. Breakfast is delicious served right on your patio. The spa is also very nice. Would definitely stay here again. 5 Stars all around.

Amazing hotel. Its super clean. Cleaning service twice a day. Breakfast is amazing and in the room, always on time. The guy who brings the breafast was just the best!! The people is awesome and the view better than perfect! The staff was very helpful. They booked us the best tables in all restaurants. Everything was really perfect. The only bad thing was the restaurant. In-room service super expansive and not worth it. We hate one night at the hotel, and maybe our expectations were very high because of the overall experience of the hotel but... this was really an overall 6 out 10 for the dinner (food, ambiance and staff)z

We had a wonderful time at Avaton resort and spa. The staff went out of their way to make us feel incredibly welcome and were also very friendly. The rooms were modern but still had that Santorini feel. We ordered room service a couple of times and the smoked salmon sandwich (bagel) is to die for. We loved the location, we felt like we were the only hotel on the island. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a romantic stay in a beautiful place.

Great room, delicious breakfasts, good location and not overlooked by any other hotels unlike some we saw. Easy to walk into Fira (about 40 minutes to the centre) and plenty of good restaurants to choose from in Imerovigli. Bus stop about 5 minutes away. Hotel staff were all brilliant and nothing was too much trouble.

This hotel is excellent and I highly recommend it! My friends who had stayed here before recommended it to me when I was planning my trip. There are only 9 rooms in this hotel, so all rooms get the beautiful view of the caldera and the pool is never too crowded. All the staffs are wonderful and did their jobs perfectly, especially Laura the manager. I love how the hotel sets up complimentary breakfast on your balcony or inside the room (whichever you prefer) every morning, so you could enjoy the magnificent view during breakfast. The crepe in the breakfast menu is the best! The hotel is very clean with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. The cave spa is great. Although the standard spa services like massages and facials are extra cost, but all hotel guests could use the jacuzzi (with hydrojet massage), sauna and steam room free of charge. If I ever get to visit Santorini again, I will definitely stay here again!
