Room clean & comfortable, next to the main station so very accessible.

great stay. price and a beautiful bathroom and large comfortable room with an ice cold mini refrigerator and comfortable down pillows, and large flat screen tv. Overall excellent. And the location 1/2 block from the train station. Wonderful.

The rooms have obviously been newly renovated recently and I was pleasantly surprised by the condition and standard of the room. Great value for money and helpful staff.

A minutes walk from the central station in one direction, 2 minutes walk to all the shops the other way. Monchengladbach isn't exactly a thriving metropolis or party venue, so don't expect excitement of any sort. Can't grumble at the hotel though, clean, great location, staff were really friendly and helpful too. Would certainly stay here again if I'm unfortunate enough to end up in Monchengladbach again.

This hotel is only 100m from main rail station so ideal location. Hotel is relatively small but very friendly. Staff cannot do enough to help. Of particular help was Ilya, whose excellent English made our lives much easier. Rooms are very modern,, clean and tidy with daily room service. They are fairly basic but absolutely adequate for a stay. Breakfast is available from 7-10am at a cost of 8 euros. We did not use this as directly next to hotel are two cafes which open around 5am. If I were to return to MG I would certainly use this hotel again.

This hotel is in an excellent position for accessing the excellent German public transport system. Although very close to the bus and train station these could not be heard from the room. This hotel does not have a 24hour reception so if you just need a comfortable and clean space to lay your head, and are a confident traveller who does not require tourist information from a concierge, this is an ideal hotel to do this. All areas were spotlessly clean. The shower was powerful and the water was hot! Reception staff were polite and helpful when they were there. The bed was comfy, although the pillow was too soft for me. The main shops are on the same road and there are restaurants to be found by walking both left and right from the hotel. Most European hotels do not provide kettles in the rooms and one additional bonus for this hotel is that there is a coffee shop on both sides so great to nip down for that first coffee of the day (which we took back to our room)! The continental breakfast was good - but maybe some pastries as an alternative to bread rolls would have been good. I would return to this hotel if I was in the Monchengladbach area again.

Arrived at the entrance of the Hotel on Hindenburgstr to find no access/pull in for a car from this very busy street. There is also no secure parkingm being informed by the receptionist to find somewhere in an adjacent street! The Hotel front is the size of a small shop and the Reception a small and unwelcoming as was the disinterested person on the very small desk. This Hotel is clearly not 3star standard. We left without taking up our room options.
