Awesome stay in a beautiful guest house. Charming and luxurious with super large rooms with everything you need. Will certainly be back.

Overall a memorable stay at the hotel. The staff and responsiveness to requests are top notch. From the welcome we received from Conrad and the team to them trying to fulfill our requests, they were amazing. Rooms are large, which is ideal for a couple, not sure about families, did not ask. The hotel is situated on the main road it is within walking distance of all you need. Make sure you look out for the sign as Wave directed us to the delivery entrance! Dietary requirements are catered for no problem - you ask and they try to accommodate the request. The afternoon tea/drinks were a treat. They only have breakfast on site and do not do other meals - they are surrounded by a variety of restaurants. The pool is not heated so usage is dependent on the time of year and temperature. There are 10 rooms and not enough parking, so you might need to park on the street - our car was safe overnight.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. They will go out of their way to meet your needs. The room was super spacious and comfortable. The hotel includes all mini bar, alcohol and breakfast in their rate. The location is great, in the town center, lots of shops and great restaurants around.

From when you first walk into the property and are greeted by the warm staff, you know this place is special. Literally located in town, you can walk everywhere. It is charming and decorated very tastefully exuding calm serenity. The rooms were very well appointed with heated floors, a bonus in Cape winters! Also complimentary stocked mini bar and two bottles of wine. They did little turn down touched to make are stay memorable and special. Breakfast was fresh and made to order, delicious. Would go back again, great break away from the city!

The rooms are spacious and well-equipped (though it took me half an hour to figure out how to get the fan to work - no staff on duty at night), but this is a tiny property on a quiet alcove off the main street, not a country estate like it appears in the photos. The gentlemen at the front desk is very helpful, but I arrived on a busy Monday and he had to call over a dozen restaurants before I could get a table (for one) for dinner. The pool is also very small. Overall very comfy but don't expect a truly world class experience.

Franschhoek is a great place to spend a few days....wine tour (we did it on Horseback which was great), great shops and restaurants...(rocas overlooking the town was awesome!) and the hotel is right there...excellent personal service and advice on local visits and restaurants, and superb suites with personal plunge pool. Belgian chocolate shop close by does a great chocolate making demo and makes delicious chocs....
