Simple, clean, and comfortable! The hotel is a great location 5 minutes from the beach, with restaurants and grocery stores nearby, but the room was quiet. The bed was very comfortable, and amenities like a clothes drying rack in the room, laundry machines, and beach towels to borrow made everything easy. The rooftop patio was very nice, with a view of the water. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was that hot water in the shower runs out quickly.

Great stay at Plaza de la Luz Cádiz. An unusual set up with the accommodation being over five buildings, so reception and breakfast were in different buildings to our room, but close by in the same street.
Breakfast buffet included a good selection of hot and cold choices.
Word of warning, 99% of bars outside the very centre close between 16.00 and 20.00/20.30, but once open in the evening are full and buzzing, good idea to book a table somewhere.

Arriving I pulled up outside for my wife to nip inside and ask the directions for the car park. Minutes later she arrived back with a map and directions, it was less than five minutes away!
Check in was easy (we had pre checked in). Our room was in a different block about four doors down in the same street. The room was large with everything we needed including a kitchenette and a separate bathroom. Shower was good and everything really clean.
It’s in a great location right in the middle of the old town (fisherman’s area), famous for its Tapas bars. We went on a pre booked Tapas walking tour and all three bars were less than four minutes away. The Cathedral was about ten minutes away, the Caleta beach about four minutes away.
We highly recommend this hotel due its location and cleanliness.

Our first time in Cadiz, what a lovely place! Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. when we arrived to check in we were very early, but it was not a problem, we were given instructions and keys for the garage to park, then we went out for a walk around, armed with a map from the front desk, about lunchtime we received a phone call to say our room was now ready. We had a great time in Cadiz, and would definately stay there again.

An average hotel in the old city, next to so many restaurants the room was a little bit old but clean, the service and the reception is good, the breakfast was in another hotel building.

Great value well equipped Studio room in the best location in Cadiz. There was a slight drain odour in the common of our block but not noticable in the room. The only slight issue for my wife was the comings and goings noise at night, this could be alleviated a little by draft proofing the entry door. Key collection and parking was OK for us on a quiet Sunday afternoon but a busy daytime could be an issue, a c vehicle 'pull in' would be useful.

The place is nicely located, proper and clean. Breakfast was fully worth the money. The only downside would be the noisy hallway, but still an excellent price-value ratio.

Perfect location, nice and clean and although in a busy area very quiet once inside. Walking distance to everywhere, only 5 mins from the market which is open late at night for food and drinks, lots of bars and restaurants nearby and 5mi. Walk from the beach. Added bonus of a reception so we could leave the bags after checkout and they rang us a taxi that arrived in 2 mins. Would recommend to anyone visiting Cadiz

Great location and very walkable at all hours. It was close to cultural experiences, the beach and coastline, parks, restaurants. The breakfast was underwhelming however it was very appreciated that there was a kettle and cups as well as a mini fridge in the room.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. My room was clean, very cosy and had everything I needed. The hotel is located in a very central position, in one of the most typical neighbourhoods of Cádiz, La Viña. There are many restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity and the beach is just a 5-minute walk away. The service was great and the staff very friendly. Highly recommended. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable! Top!

Stayed in a fresh, comfy, spacious room with big terrace and great view. Very friendly and helpful staff, gave us lots of useful information about the city. We used the garage for our car, perfect!

We had a sewer smell. It finally stopped coming in the room after the shower. The trap in the drain was empty.

There are AC thermostats in each unit but temperature is controlled.
If you going in summer, you are in trouble.
They told me, every two hours the AC turns off. Not true. Every 5 minutes the AC unit stop running.
I was very disappointed because I try to always make sure to select a hotel which specifies they have a/c in each room one can control like this one did..I like to sleep in cold a/c. Although the Apartment was very nice and is in a great location,
I won’t come back again. Their staff were kind to refund us the 2nd night which we did not stay due to this a/c issue. Staff had no problem with our refund request.
