Toiletries like hand soap and shampoo containers where empty, refrigerator didn’t work well drinks were not cold enough to enjoy them, there was roaches in the room we stay personal of the hotel were informed. I had a emergency and to be able to get a well chair took so long

We enjoyed so much, hotel is in a splendid bay, place is privileged. The building as arquitectural is also fantastic, so clean and areas are spectacular. Restaurants are awesome, fun every nite, shows, karaoke, trivia’s, dance, disco, shooing with air rifle, tennis courts.

The rooms definitely need some TLC, and the cleaning of the rooms could be better. The service was okay. We’ve been to this resort in the past and had a better experience.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Rust coming out of the shower, smelly room, wet sheets, slider could not lock, etc. etc.

Too many noisy kids. The pool water was dirty and the pool was missing lots of tiles. I was expecting a bigger water slide. Few food choices. Nice beach and nice room.

No working elevator in our building. Just had knee surgery. At check in they told us there was 1 working buy not.

Friendly employees,good food,clean rooms .I really like an idea with the glass bottles instead plastic and they do recycle everything.This is environment friendly resort.Lots of local people staying at the hotel.If you would like to avoid the crowds have breakfast, lunch or dinner earlier,because locals like to eat late….

This is one of those reviews where one needs to set the record straight for all the false advertising and positive reviews.
Hotel room maids never change sheets and pillow covers. Everything smells. Elevators don’t work. Rooms and bathrooms are dirty. The spa is ridiculously expensive as if you are in Beverly Hills top-notch spa minus the spa results and ambiance. The food is bad and the service is just horrible. Very far from the downtown area and they never care to service the client properly.

First time staying here. Excellent staff and service. Lots of activities for the kids and adults, too. Food selection was excellent having different cuisines every night. Will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended.

Very family friendly, however, this is one hour away from
puerto Vallarta and it’s not always easy or cheap to get rides into puerto Vallarta. If you plan on spending a majority or all of your time at the resort this one is definitely worth it!

Large pool with lots of space for lounging and swimming. Ocean front rooms had excellent views and were quiet.

The amenities and activities were great, staff was mostly great- especially the Kids club staff and pool staff were wonderful. The facilities are dated and need attention.

This is a four star resort. Our least favorite part was the room. Small and dirty.
The rest of the property was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. We never left the hotel! We are beach people, and the beach was absolutely perfect! Nice waves, perfect temperature and safe for our 7 year old. Food was very decent and plenty of options.

The rooms have bugs. The AC is not cold enough. We had a power outage and the room was so hot. The pool has bugs. And there was a horrible fight at the hotel and no ambulance or police showed up until an hour later. There is no security at this hotel and we felt completely unsafe.

Amazing stay here with great restaurant food and an awesome staff. This is a good stay for families with small kids. Room were a bit outdated and need some renovations. Overall it was a great experience with alot to offer. It is an outdoor resort so everything is exposed to the outdoors including the lobby. My wife lost her purse and the staff went above and beyond to find it and return it to us.

We had a great time at Iberostar Selection Playa Mita. It was all inclusive and there were no surprise fees. We also enjoyed the variety of food options and restaurants. The kid activities were great for our family. It was a beautiful location. This hotel was a bit far from Puerto Vallarta but if you are looking for a resort experience this was excellent!

Traveled with a 1 and 3 year old. Kids loved the water park and pool. The hotel feels a bit dated. Wish there were more bartenders walking around the pool areas.

This hotel and its grounds are beautiful and calming. The food at each restaurant was delicious. So much to choose from. My favorites: rooftop bar, 24 hour cafe on site, and the amazing swimming pool.

We had a great stay. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the Kids Camp and the staff was super friendly. The only thing that needs attention is the tiles in the pool. My son had several cuts throughout our stay with 1 deep one that needed first aid.

The staff at this property is excellent! They really go above and beyond when it comes to customer service.
I did not enjoy the food as much as I thought I would, so my family and I did not have all our meals on site. That being said, the property is far from the tourist spots. Now, if you crave peace and silence, then this is the property for you! I had my 6yo with us, who enjoyed the Kids Club immensely, but wanted to go out and explore. There were a lot of cabs. The bellboys can easily hail a cab for you, but the rides are not cheap, so they add up. If you crave the tourist spots, I do not think this is the property for you.

We had a good stay at Iberostar. The service was great! Beautiful grounds and mountain scenery all around. I will say that the breakfast and lunch options were not fabulous - only one place that served breakfast but lots of options. I would not suggest eating at the pool side buffet as people are walking around wet and grabbing food to bring by the pool which was pretty gross. Now the dinner restaurant options were great! The Japanese restaurant and French restaurant had fantastic food and the steakhouse wasn't bad either. The rooms could use some updating especially the bathrooms and shower area. Service was great especially Serena!!!

Nonfunctional mini fridge that took two days to get fixed properly, lack of adequate housekeeping (left us with no toilet paper and didn’t restock drinks), the Japanese Steakhouse undercoooked chicken horribly with a ‘chef’ that had no idea what they were doing (burned literally everything and dropped spatula on ground multiple times), hairdryer caught fire leaving the room and my hair smelling burned for two days, and there has been a notable decrease in hospitality and quality of food the past few years since our other stays. I would not recommend.

Property was very clean and modern. Very happy with our stay! Africa was wonderful for the water aerobics, July was a great pool side server who was quick and always happy, and the kids club crew were all amazing!! They made our kids trip so much more fulfilling and exciting. Thank you all!
