This is the first time I have stayed here although I have seen it numerous time on my trips to G'burg. The room was clean, the beds fairly comfortable and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We had reserved a 1 queen bed room with a fireplace through hotels.com, but we decided we wanted to go a day early. There were no rooms through hotels.com, so I called the hotel and they had a room. I asked if we could just get the room we were going to be in and not have to move and the young man (Dev) said "yes". We got there tuesday night and when I checked in I made sure we could stay in the same room. Well, evidently there was a change and I was told we would have to leave the room the next morning. When I told them what Dev told me, the young man at the desk immediately made the change and we were able to stay in the room. Because of the trouble, we got the 2 queen bed with a balcony. I couldn't ask for a nicer group of people at this hotel. The ONLY negative is the water pressure in the shower. It is not good. I don't understand any hotel these days that doesn't have good water pressure, but we survived. (LOL) The light in the bathroom isn't bright, but that didn't bother me. The water was good and hot to take a shower and they have fans in the bathroom, which are unheard of these days. They even have a heater for the bathroom. Really cool. All in all...great stay. It's also close to Crockett's breakfast restaurant...where we eat every time. We also saw a bear our last morning.

Hotel was absolutely amazing… comfortable beds ..big and spacious suite … staff went over and above for us … wouldn’t stay anywhere else anymore

The area was just far enough away from the downtown rush but close enough to easily walk to every where. The river was visible behind our room and the gondola out the front. Perfect for us to enjoy a weekend in Gatlinburg.

Our room was spacious and clean. Bathroom could use a little update but the room appears recently renovated. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. Easily walk to most attractions and restaurants.

It was a one night stay. It was perfect for our needs. It was comfortable and quiet. The people who ran the hotel were very friendly.

I stayed at the Econo Lodge Inn just a couple of days ago and had a good experience overall. The hotel is conveniently located close to Gatlinburg downtown, which made it easy to explore the area without having to drive far. The highlight was definitely the beautiful lake view, adding a peaceful touch to the stay. The bedding was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well, keeping the room cool and pleasant. The hotel is a bit older, but it’s well-maintained and clean. The service was great; the staff was friendly and quick to accommodate my request for an extended checkout. Breakfast was simple but a nice addition to the stay. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel close to downtown Gatlinburg with a nice lake view and decent amenities, Econo Lodge Inn is a solid choice.
