Very good Location to the old town, port, beach and shops. Hotel suites were spacious and exceptionally clean. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Good choice of breakfast and plentiful. Comfortable beds. Nice rooftop pool, small but adequate. Nothing that we did not dislike.

Great value hotel! Location is wonderful, near beach, shops and restaurants. Stayed at 4 hotels in Crete and this was probably best value. Rethmynon old town is lovely, I prefer it to Chania town. Maybe because it’s got 3km of well organised beach, feels more like a holiday destination. The old town is full of character, rustic charming relaxed and people were very warm and friendly. There are very nice boutiques with Mediterranean fashion and unique beautiful artwork in shops near hotel. There are supermarkets, a laundromat, lots of hair salons and nail shops near hotel. Great restaurants in old town with good food service and great decor and atmosphere like Castelo and To Pigadi. Creamerie Vienna near hotel has best gelato. Old town and rest of town blend beautifully. Suite at hotel was spacious, clean and comfortable. Had room on 3rd floor, suite is flooded with natural light, more light than you might find in an old town hotel given how close buildings are together and how narrow alleys are. Breakfast at hotel is basic but decent. There is an old well below the dining room. Highly recommend a visit here.

Amazing! Spacious room, super clean, with all facilities. The staff is really nice and helpful. Very variated breakfast. The hotel is pretty close to both the beach and the old city. Also, easy to get the city exit from there if you want to do day trips. Highly recommended!

Everything was great with this small hotel. We can't find anything to complain about. Well, maybe that there is some noise from the traffic and that the bar was not open, but that doesn't really matter when there is a small shop just outside the entrance and many bars and restaurants nearby. It's close both to the old town and to the beach. All staff was friendly and helpful.The breakfast buffe was the best we've ever had in Greece.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ionia Suites, the location was excellent (very close to the beach and various bars and restaurants and close to the old town, the staff extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel itself and the room were very clean, modern and spacious.

One night hit on a roadtrip, super clean, 2 room suite, well equipped for self catering...bright, and comfortable..you could stay for a month! Walking distance to port, old town, lots of restaurants beach...parking was a challenge...no hotel lot, but after a few rounds around the block, we found one! Would rebook

This is a very nice hotel close to the promenade and a 5 min walk to the old town. The rooms are huge, with comfortable beds, kitchenette, and nice bathrooms. Extremely clean. The breakfast was very nice with many options. The staff are super helpful and nice, they even made us breakfast and gave it to take with us when we were checking out early in the morning. Absolutely recommend it!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay in Ionia Suites. Hotel spotless and beds very comfy. Staff very helpful and professional.

Hotel excellent, breakfast was better than expected, there was a real mix to suit every taste. Rooms cleaned daily and were very well equipped. About 2 mins walk from the sandy beaches. Rethymnon is a fabulous mix of old style greek tavernas, beautiful buildings and modern, funky bars and restaurants. The sandy beaches are spotless and well equipped for the watersport enthusiast. Lots of places of interest - Rimondi fountains, the fortress, beautiful churches etc. For a city it was spotlessly clean and there was a real feeling of safety whilst wandering around, even very late at night. Definitely my best greek experience and I won't hesitate in going back next year.
